Q: Isn't a Big Wheel just a plastic tricycle?Which is better?They didn't have the Big Wheel when I was that age so far as I know.: A Big Wheel has a plastic front wheel, plastic back wheels and a low profile seat. Very light weight and you can do awesome slides and stunts on it without falling off and busting your head open. I had one decades ago and was a red , white and blue Bicentennial version that was simply awesome. I miss it. A tricycle is mostly metal with a large front rubber tire and usually rear rubber wheels. The seat sits at a higher center of gravity that can cause major injuries if any awesome stunts are performed. *ouch*. But you could go places that a Big Wheel couldn't due to the rubber wheels. So all in all I had an awesome Big Wheel and I did have a tricycle. Hands down the Big Wheel really is an awesome toy. Having memories of both I would say the Big Wheel.

Q: i want to change my front wheel into a back wheel can this be done and how?: Maybeprobably. If you're just wanting to use the front hub and throw on a different axle/freewheel then no, that's impossible. But if you want to disassemble the wheel, re-use the rim and lace it to a rear hub, then yes, you can do that. You may have to get new spokes if the new rear hub requires a different length than what was used with your front hub (same rim), but that just depends on what you get. It's a job for a skilled mechanic and if you've never done any wheel building I wouldn't suggest that you try it out this time, especially for a rear wheel. Besides, you'll probably find out that it will be much cheaper to just buy a new complete rear wheel once you add up all the costs involved.
