Description of High Quality AKZ-99 Alumina Brick
High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks have high-alumina bauxite powder and refractory clay as raw materials and some inflammable additions, shaped by tamping or extrusion pressing and fired in high-temp tunnel kiln after being dried.
High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks have three brands in accordance with their bulk densities, which are decided by the amount of the inflammable additions. High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks with large bulk density have the features of high mechanical strength and small change of load at a high temperature.
Application of High Quality AKZ-99 Alumina Brick
Used in heat-insulating layers and furnace linings of thermal equipment, such as, roller kilns ceramics, heating furnaces petrochemical reforming, reforming furnaces, soaking ptis metallurgy and blast furnaces.

- Q: how do you prepare cement with exposed aggregates
- Finish the same as a regular slab and when it has started to set pour water on it and use a stiff brush or broom to remove the top layer of cement. Then wash off good.
- Q: Any one know the differnt ratios of sand and cement for the different strengths of concrete eg. 25N 35N etc.?
- Cement to aggregate ratios do not determine concrete strength. The water to cement ratio is what determines strength. Sand, gravel and other aggregates act as a bonding agent. Normal ratio is 7-15% cement to 14-21% water with remaining percentage as the aggregate.
- Q: who invented cement first?
- Romans but it's not the cement that we know now. The main component was volcanic ash. If you're referring to the modern day cement, it's Louis Vicat and Joseph Asdin for ordinary portland cement.
- Q: I am thinking about a career in driving a cement truck. Can somebody tell me the upside and downside of this career? I have a class B licenses now so all I need to do is add tanker endorsement to it.
- Actually cement trucks don't need cleaning at all. Concrete trucks, on the other hand, are quite messy. Perhaps we should clarify the terminology?
- Q: The house was built in 1925 without foundation tile, over the years whatever was painted over the brick interior walls has bubbled because of the moisture that would have been diverted by an appropriate ditch around the foundation, or tiles to drain it, etc. Several of these bubbles are basketball in size, and there are cracks in many areas of the stucco-like stuff that chips off in large pieces. I want to patch it up, and repaint, what is that stuff called? It looks like cement when chipped off, is it joint compound? How should I go about this? Moisture problems have been aleviated, now I just need to fix the cosmetics.
- It's a special type of waterproofing finish that is meant for block walls--probably a type of stucco with added plastic compounds that make it impervious to water. You can't use joint compound---it's not meant to be applied over block, stone, or brick. You have to use a grout-like substance--something that contains an adhesive to make it stick, and some additional ingredients to keep it from absorbing water. Go to your local box store, hardware or construction store and ask them what they would recommend--take a piece of the chipped off stuff with you so they can identify what is already on the walls. Then use a waterproof basement paint to finish it off after you patch. I gotta tell you, though--if you have a problem UNDER the stuff now, (because it's bubbling and cracking) you won't get rid of that problem by patching--you may have to get a pro in there to waterproof and seal the block from scratch. And that's a lot of $$.
- Q: My friend wants to know.
- First you got to find and catch the rat bastard who's going to wear them. Then you make a box out of plywood about 1.5 ft tall and big enough that he can stand in. Stand him in it and fill the box with cement. Quickcrete brand cement is usually your best option. Let it dry, then have your snitch try them out at the bottom of a river or lake. You should be able to find all the tools and supplies you need at your local hardware store.
- Q: Portland cement compared with slag cement Thank you for the exam! More
- Its ratio is not about 1: 1.2 between. Thank you, huh
- Q: i have to do a math project and it involves making a park. i have to quot;pretendquot; to buy cement and create a quot;pretendquot; park. i need to no the cost to buy cement per sq ft.
- according to my calculations, the amount of concrete needed is the same cost as the amount of cubic dirt that lies underneath the soon to be conrete. i believe that in this state, the concrete will be need to be bought at as cheap a price you can get, dawwwg.
- Q: I like for my students to use rubber cement in the classroom. The school distict made us quit using it since it is toxic. I read somewhere that there is a new product that is like rubber cement, just nontoxic.
- I think the question asked if there was a nontoxic product out there now. Funny how some people even go as far as signing their name to try and show how intelligent they are. Must have taken half the night to type that response above. Anyway, the Elmer's rubber cement is nontoxic...to actually answer your question. For those of you wondering, rubber cement is excellent because it does not wrinkle, saturate, bubble, ripple or discolor the paper like glue.
- Q: my husband just started working at this contruction-like plase by demolishing houses, he came home one day and later that night his nose started bleeding uncontrolably, i dont know if it was because its hot or because hes breathing in dirty air or cement or dust or i really dont know. i just want to know if hes going to be okay, because hes the kinda guy that says quot;no im allrightquot; but hes dying. he doeant have any breathing problems or asma.
