Description of High Quality AKZ-99 Alumina Brick
High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks have high-alumina bauxite powder and refractory clay as raw materials and some inflammable additions, shaped by tamping or extrusion pressing and fired in high-temp tunnel kiln after being dried.
High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks have three brands in accordance with their bulk densities, which are decided by the amount of the inflammable additions. High-alumina lightweight refractory bricks with large bulk density have the features of high mechanical strength and small change of load at a high temperature.
Application of High Quality AKZ-99 Alumina Brick
Used in heat-insulating layers and furnace linings of thermal equipment, such as, roller kilns ceramics, heating furnaces petrochemical reforming, reforming furnaces, soaking ptis metallurgy and blast furnaces.

- Q: what is the definition of cement?
- cement is a binder, a substance which sets and hardens independently, and can bind other materials together
- Q: Like peanuts look like building materials, very light and mixed with the use of cement.
- You say is the ceramsite,Ceramics ah obviously do the insulation.
- Q: Please help me out here
- 7 tons of cement 11.67 tons of gravel 16.33 tons of sand. Say X is the amount of cement (don't worry about the 3). How much gravel is there in relation to cement? 5/3 as much. For every 3 of cement, there's 5 of gravel. How about the sand? There's 7/3 as much sand as there is cement. So now you can restate the whole thing with respect to cement: However much cement + 5/3 more gravel than cement + 7/3 more sand than cement = 35 tons. X + (5/3)X + (7/3)X = 35. X ends up equaling 7, (5/3)X is 11.67, and (7/3)X is 16.33. Hope this helps!
- Q: what happens if i run on cement for 25- 30 mins for 3 times a week?theres not much place where i can run on grass though there is a little park that i can run back and forth continously will that be better than running on cement for 25 - 30 mins for 3 times a week?I know its bad for your knees but what happens when you keep running on cement?
- since cement is very hard, the impact of the foot hitting the ground will be much harder and this is not a good thing. it will detoriate the joints in both your ankles and your knees. and you are at greater risk of getting small stress fractures in your shins (shin splints) which are quite painful. i do not suggest running on cement as it can have increased damage to your joints than any other running surface. if there is a track at a school that their is access to or something similar i would suggest running on that.
- Q: i buried my two parakeets in a white cement tomb (2 compartments for the 2 birds) Since white cement is.. cement, will the stench of their bodies decaying inside be also smelled from the outside? They're just interred so I still don't know what will happen- will i smell the odor or not? and when I touch the cement tomb, is stick to my hand as duslike powder so it quot;erodesquot; away. Anyway I can stop this erosion of the cement? Thanks to the one who can answer my problem :) Hope you understand my love for my pets to make them a white cement niche even if it sounds weird :)
- You must love your pets very much to make them a nice place for burial. How do you feel about painting the tomb? If you paint the white cement tomb you will not smell any odor and it should stop the erosion of the cement. A good paint to try is Kilz. They have a line of paints and primers that offer superior coverage, mildew resistance and tough stain and odor blocking. I am sorry for your loss. I hope this helps.
- Q: My cat has urinated on the cement basement floor around the area of the litter box. It is my fault for not cleaning the litter box right away, but now I have a problem! I have tried dousing the area with vinegar and letting it air dry. Any other suggestions?
- Oil based sealer or oil based paint. Maybe you'll get luck enough to find a 5 gallon bucket of returned paint at your local box store for very cheap. It's not like the color is going to count.
- Q: What is the method of removing the cement on the tiles?
- First, do not use hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, oxalic acid, nitric acid, will seriously corrode the brick surface
- Q: Was there concrete/cement in the 1880s-1890s?
- Uh oh. She forgot the Romans in her History of concrete. Their concrete work is still standing. :) But I liked the story. I know you asked about the 1800's, but if you are also interested in Roman (cementitious) concrete history, here's an interesting site from the University of Santa Barbara: id-archserve.ucsb.edu/arthistory/...
- Q: What is water cement ratio?
- For 1m^2 of 280 Kg/cm^2 Design Concrete I have used: 8 bags of Concrete 0.4 m^2 3-4 stone 0.4 m^2 washed fine aggregated (sand) 280 liters water Some times I got up to 300 Kg/cm^2, some times 260 Kg/cm^2 tested Concrete, most of the time resistance was better when it was vibrated for long periods and hydrated copiously the first week, without accelerants. Using too much water will result in a poor concrete. Using to little will reduce fluidity when pouring and may produce porosity.
- Q: We have very ugly cement floor for our outside space and want to change it up! We do not want to pour a whole new set of concrete however and we were wondering if we could use something to stick on top of our old concrete! :) We've heard mortar works...but we need direction plz help!!!!
- I really think you'll have to start all over again. Put river rock down and pour cement over rock and clean rocks quickly before cement drys. Have you thought about large tiles?
