1. Applications of Bare Conductor
AAC AACSR and ACSR Conductor have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels, because they have such good characteristics as simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance ,low cost and large transmission capacity. They are also suitable for laying across rivers, valleys and the places where special geographical features exist.
2. Service Performance
(1).The permissible long-time operating temperature for aerial conductor is 70oC.
(2).Under the circumstance that rare climate is occuring and ice coverage rate low in heavy ice area, the biggest stress of cable at the lowest point of the sag should not exceed 60% of the short-time destructive power.
(3).When connecting conductors ,the conductor beside the connecting tube cant be prominent.Otherwise, the force on the operating conductors will be unbalanced. After connectors are install, the connecting tube should be painted by moisture-proof varnish in order to protect it from corrosion.
(4).Under installation, the arc downing stress of all the conductors should be the same. With in the permissible distance of crossing buildings or dropping to the ground, the stress can be 10-15% higher than regular stress.
3.Product Performance
(1).The electrical performance of AAC Conductor and ACSR Conductor is indicated in DCΩ/km(20oC).The resistivity of the hard aluminum wire for stranded wires is not greater than 28.264 nΩ. m of international standard value.

- Q: Suppose load is 100KW, length 50m, how to calculate cable size. If we know current Is any easy mathod to calculate cable size.
- There are two issues to consider, cable heating and voltage drop. Of the two, voltage drop is by far the easiest. You need to determine what the allowable voltage drop in you cable is. The voltage drop is just I x R where I is the current and R is teh round trip cable resistance. The specification of 100 kW isn't enough. If its a high tension 100 kV line, the current is only 1 amp and a run of 16 AWG wire would deliver about 99,999 volts out of the original 100,000 volts to your load. If its a 100 volt system then a 4 AWG wire would only deliver only 20 volts to the load. The formula for wire resistance (in AWG) is that 10 AWG has 0.001 ohm/ft. Each increase of 1 in the gauge increases resistance by the cube root of 2 (about 25%). You calculate by picking what voltage drop you can live with, for the known current figure the resistance, knowing the length figure the resistance per foot, and then pick the AWG using the above. The second concern is wire heating. Although you could do the heat transfer calculations, instead look up the allowable ampacity for any wire in an electrical engineers or NEC handbook.
- Q: Copper core power cable laying cable sets what fixed
- BTS is 2G base station, a wireless network consists of N BTS and several BSC, each BTS need to access the BSC through the transmission network. 2G base station transmission interface is mostly 2M interface. SDH (Synchronous Digital System), is a technical system developed by ITU, is a transmission technology. SDH line side (that is, out of the cable) is 155M, 622M, 2.5G, 10G optical interface. Branch side (then business network equipment, including base stations) are more than 2M, FE, GE also has 155M optical interface. DDF and ODF are patch panels, DDF digital patch panels, ODF fiber patch panels. SDH line side of the ODF frame, is received on the outgoing cable, DDF frame service network equipment, in the base station is then BTS. Set the patch panel is mainly for easy maintenance, you can label on the patch panel, each interface business type is very clear. The communication system diagram in the base station is this: BTS - DDF - SDH - ODF - another bureau.
- Q: The power cable for my DELL laptop AC adapter just got burned. I read the power that the desktop cable transmits. It is the same as my laptop's power cable. Is there a real risk if I use it?
- Hi solomon, It is not recommended to use a desktop power cable for supplying power to laptop as it might cause damage to AC adapter as well as laptop. You may purchase a power supply cable at a nominal charge from a local electronics store. Thanks Regards, Sundeep B
- Q: Power cable YJV22-8.7 / 15kv-3 * 300 what meaning
- National norms are strictly prohibited, but in practice it is difficult to distinguish between personal experience: 1. Power supply AC380 above, absolutely can not be with the signal line control line with the laying; 2. Power load in the variable frequency load is not Can be; 3. AC. AC110 no problem, but may interfere with the monitoring of video images, the signal line must choose shielded cable single-ended ground, the signal is not affected, no problem; 4 encountered this situation, the general control cable, Line in the same pipe laying, power cable to choose a separate pipe laying. If the scene allows, be sure to strictly abide by the procedures to facilitate the completion of acceptance later. Use UPVC ,, that must be buried, the use of plastic pipe in general play two roles: 1. Waterproof 2. to prevent false digging. Plastic pipe can not play a shielding effect, so you must be the power line and the other separated, the best interval of a certain distance, or power lines choose armored cable.
- Q: I would like to buy a replacement. What AC/DC adaptor should I buy? Should I buy the exact same model (FSP150-AAA)? I assume any AC/DC adaptor that has the same spec is ok but I am not sure what is the key for the spec. Any advice would be appreciated.
- There appear to be various manufacturers of FSP150-AAA power supplies. You must have a substantial laptop or whatever that is powering. Most laptops have 65 to 90 watt PSU, my gaming laptop is 120 watt, and FSP150-AAA is 150 watt. Or is that an all-in-one PC where the computer is built into a screen? The one you link to is one of the ones I found in a web search.
- Q: I am buying a graphics card with a 6-pin power cable connection, but i have no six pin power connections, so i need a converter that converts two molex (four pin) plugs into the 6-pin plug that i need. But i have no molex pins, so i need to convert my two sata 15-pin cables to molex pins so that i can complete the circuit. will this work without risking damage to anything, and will it work in the first place? Also, do i HAVE to use _two_ molex cables to make the pci-e (six pin) cable?
- no you can not do what you want to do .it will not work u need to go to the manufactory web site for that and order it or go to you local computer store
- Q: i just moved from canada to asia and the voltage in canada was 110 and here its 240 so i have a ps3 and i plugged it into a converter(converts voltage). After im done playing i noticed that the power cable is warm and you could move the two positive and negative prongs very easily as if they were about to come out of the cable. I have no idea what to do HELP!!!!!!!
- The ps3 supports both 120 and 220 Voltage.
- Q: I'm going to be running 1/0 gauge power wire in my car. My amp only accepts 4 gauge. Is it better to run 1 the whole way through and use power cable adaptors to fit the amp or run the 1 gauge into a distribution block that sizes the output wire down to a 4?
- Basic rule of electronics: Eliminate as many connections as possible. If you are using just the one amp, it is better to use one connector that reduces the size of the wire (or just trim it down to fit) than adding two more connections (with a distribution block).
- Q: Im not very good with computers but I wanna buy Radeon hd 6850 graphic card, I have a 500 watt psu but I heard I need a 6 pin cable which my psu doesnt have. Can I use a 6 Pin PCI Express Video Card Power Cable Adapter?
- you will decide on a case that ought to take the longer card. a PCI-E x16 slot (and a sparkling slot decrease than it) a PCI-E 6pin power connector a PSU that has atleast 500watt's power. in case you like help looking a PSU which will artwork and characteristic the desirable connectors positioned up a value that your keen to pay for a sparkling PSU.
- Q: I'm putting in my new power supply and gotta take out the old. But there isnt any clips to slide the cables out. I don't want to pull to hard and damage anything. How do you get it out. Do you pull hard? Help me.
- Just pull on the cables. There are no clips. Just got to pull. Those things get really stuck with time. It's a really stupid connection system.
