- Power cable size will depend on the output current rating of the genset. The conductor size shall be rated for carrying the maximum genset current contnuously and shall be rated for the voltage of the genset.
- Q: my elite was banned from xbox live, yes my fault, so i ordered a new xbox 360 elite just the xbox part and kept everything else. - My PS3 slim does not use the standard 3-prong power cord. However, Googling for images of PS3 power cords, it shows the standard 3-prong. So the answer yes or no.
- Q: I just bought a new computer, a DELL Inspiron 530. It has none of the older 4-pin power cables from the power supply; only the newer SATA power devices. I have an older hard drive, that connects via IDE cables (the gray ribbon). Ive already bought the card that converts the IDE to SATA, and it is connected to the mother board. Here is the problem: the IDE Hard Drive is powered with the 4-pin power supply that Ive seen on EVERY power supply before this one. The IDE to SATA converter came with an extension for that 4-pin power supply. But the power supply in the tower DOESNT HAVE ANY 4-PIN POWER ADAPTERS. It has one free SATA power. Im looking to take the SATA power from my power supply, convert it to the old-style IDE 4-pin power supply (female) and plug it into the 4-pin extension (male) that powers my hard drive and SATA-IDE converter. Most converters go the other way... Please post links with examples of parts, since I cannot find anything that lets me do what I am looking to
- The SATA motherboard uses probably ATX or MicroATX. These are motherboard independant, but for SATA drives you need a SATA power adapter (it converts the 4 wire MOLEX into a flat SATA power cable). Most SATA drives come with this or even the motherboard does. if your power supply is ATX and your Motherboard is ATX then it will work (granted the wattage is enough for all your devices).

- Well, before 1977 the United States had massed produced electrical powerlines which used PCB's, or PolyChlorinated Biphenols. They were chains of of chlorine, used as insulators in powerlines. They get into the air and the people are sick around them at a certain period of exposure. They give people really bad acne and it gets into water underground and many other ways of infection are possible (even eating food around a powerline outside. However, many of the powerlines you see now are younger than 1977, but if you see any powerlines that you suspect are extremely old or at least 30 years old, and you believe it has PCB's and are worried it is infecting the area of environment... You should call FEMA or some sort of environmental pickup specialists or something. How do I know all this? Selected research, I believe my area may have a large amount of ground PCB levels.

- it wouldn't get much power. it would come in crappy and fussy and it eventually blow but not right away.
- Q: I am constantly just throwing all of our cables into grocery bags or backpacks and nothing ever seems to work well when it comes to setting up for a show. Are there special cases/bags that would work best for transporting XLR, 1/4quot;, and power cables?
- you can get little velcro ties for like $3 for 50. learn how to coil cables correctly (most pros use under/over) and then secure them with the velcro strip (I like to keep the velcro at the male end of the XLR cables so it's not danglight around on the mike end) and then they should be kept pretty well organized even if you just throw them in a backpack or something
