- Q:Every time I tap on the battery pack on the back, it disconnects my controller. It's extremely frustrating because every time I put my controller down on a table, it disconnects. Does anyone know why this is? My battery pack doesn't look loose.
- It's not uncommon for a wireless controller's batter pack to behave like that. There are several different things you can do. The first is is a more sarcastic approach in tightly taping the battery to the controller. The second is to be extra gentle in setting the controller down to determine the exact level of sensitivity so you can put your controller down without losing the wireless connection. The third is to hardline the controller to the Xbox, though that would obviously take the fun out of playing wirelessly. The fourth and least likely option is to buy a new controller. Generally, the most frequent cause of a controller's disconnecting is lack of contact between the battery and the controller. Even the slightest lacking will sever the connection to the Xbox. If the battery pack fits the compartment on the bottom of the controller perfectly, and you can't push it towards you and feel it budge, then it might not be the battery pack; it could be the controller itself. If that's the case, you are likely looking at a possible replacement controller. It happens. Sometimes you get a lemon. Make sure you don't buy merchendise at gaming outlets. As unusual as that might seem, you'll commonly get a better deal if you go to Target or Walmart. Before you consider the possibility, I would strongly recommend you try my trouble shooting suggestions mentioned above. Experience has shown the problem to be between the battery and the controller. - Q:I have a portable dvd that is model number pdv-288 that my dad got me years ago and it has been working fine but then when when to charge the battery after I have not changed it in years the green light on the battery would flash green the hole time it has been charging for over 10hours now but when I un plugge it from change just have the battery on the dvd only so I can turn it on to watch a move the portable dvd player light will not turn green to let you know it is on but when it is plugged in to the wall with or with out the battery pack plugged it it will turn on but i will not turn on with just the battery packand I was wornding how can I fix it.
- Get a new battery pack, you old one has aged, badly. PDV-288 sounds like a SpectrinIQ or Protron model, I am saying.

- Only one battery pack in the back? And what do you want? Two battery packs in the back and two in the front? Don't you see that your question is not really clear? If you mean that you have a battery and it's no good and you don't have a charger, BUY A CHARGER. Is it too complicated for you?
- Q:I just got this phone from a friend. It's the red Upstage that came with the red and black battery cases (the thing you put the phone in). When I put the phone in the black case, the phone shows 2 batteries. When I put the phone in the red case, there is only one battery. I tried charging it but it wont show up. - I guess you should only be using the black case then if thats the one that works. Your friend probably broke the red one - that's why he doesn't use it and sold it to you.
- Q:I have a few cheap LED flashlights that I would like to power with a 7.6 volt R/C car battery pack. I used to power a regular bike light with it, but the bulb was for 7.5 volts. I'd like to go LED for better battery life. All the LED lights use 3 1.5 aaa batteries. Do I need to add anything (resitors, capacitors, etc.), or are they already in there? Any help would be great.
- That is a complex problem. First you need to know what specific bulb you are dealing with . Most white LED's typically run between 3.7 to 4.2 Vdc , and require 20-30 mA each to run at their full output. You say that the 3 AAA batteries are what they ran on originally, so that means that they could have only been setup as a parallel circuit, if they were in series that would require at least 36 volts. But you do not know the specifics, so here is how you start: Assume that the max voltage of the bulbs is 4.0 Vdc x 9 bulbs @ 20 mA each , powered by 7.6 vdc One 22 ohm 1 watt resistor @ 30mA each you would need one 15 ohm 1 watt resistor , but be careful you could shorten the life , or not, trial and error is the only way to know. Radio shack does sell a 22 ohm 1/2 watt resistor, and it would get hot, so you need to go to a specialty electronics(radio shack is not anymore) shop and find exactly what you need for around a buck. Oh and you cant take two 22 ohm 1/2 watt resistors and run them in series, that would result in 11ohms at 1 watt, and a bulb life of around 40ms.
- Q:Borrowed a controller from my brother and the plug and play cable, but didn't grab a battery pack. Trying to use it on my Xbox 360, but I need to sync it first. Unfortunately, the plug and play cable covers up the sync button, making it nigh-impossible for me to sync it. Is there any way I can sync it?
- if you don't have a battery holder knocking about no, don't you have a share somewhere , just putting the battery's in it without a battery holder won't work because the battery's won't connect, the plug in and plug cable just allow you to do though as you have power via that , i don't really understand the problem but i'm probably just a dumb *****
