Q: i been playing the new moon map with my friends i know how to stop the excavator but in round 26 both excavators came down wich i tought there was not going to be any problem because on the next round i was going to stop both with the hacking device so we went te teletransport and went to area 51 than teletransport to the excavator station where you suppose to stop them i did stop both of them than changed my hacking device for the mask than i went to tunel 6 and the scavator was not all the way up so i went to tunel 11 and the same it was not all the way up idk why this happend so there was not a way to get to the dome where me and my firends camp and that was it we only made it to round 29.have this happend to you? why this happend?
I had something similar once when I played with my friend. We couldn't find a way to get back to the dome, so we just decided it best to sacrifice a perk and let the astronaut guy hopefully teleport us to the other side of the excavators lol.

Q: I am adding an apartment onto my house and I need to know what is a good fondation to sit it on and how close to the septic tank can I build it. One more question what comes first the foundation or the plumbing?
I assume you are building the apartment on a slab. The foundation comes first. Check your local building codes. Most require a 4 foot foundation if it is a slab or crawl space. If there is going to be basement, then 8 foot foundation is usually required. As for the proximity to the septic tank, again, local building codes need to be consulted. Don't forget that you will need access to the tank for servicing, such as cleaning. You definitely do not want to cover over the leach field.
Q: What are some of the pros and cons of each? Im not exactly sure, but id assume that there is a lot of good and bad in both. I am selling my backhoe and plan on buying one or the other, but am leaning towars the gradall since i don't need to trailer it. What do you think?
too many things you can not do with a gradall . if you are good with an excavator you can do just about any job that involves dirt .you can also get into places with an excavator that you can not with a gradall
Q: Hi, I'm in the Navy right now, but I really want to get into construction in the future when I get out, but I have no experience.I've heard that a good idea to get your foot in the door is to take a class to operate heavy equipment. I've researched a couple companies who do classes like that, like ATS, but most of them last months. I want to take classes like this, but I don't think I'll be able to take leave long enough to take one of these classes. Are there any other ways to get some lessons for equipment like dozers, graders, excavators, etc. in a shorter time period? Thanks.
Probably not. To learn to safely operate a number of different pieces of equipment like this you need lots of hands on experience and that takes some time. If a school offers a shorter program do not trust them. The best way to get into construction is to get into a 4 year apprenticeship program and learn a trade from the bottom up. Supplement your experience with training at a community college. If you are young enough you might consider learning two trades for flexibility and then get into a construction management course or an architecture program. Electical, Carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing are all good programs. Autocad and some construction management or business courses would really round you out well. Construction can be a very rewarding career but there are no shortcuts. You need a combination of schooling and OJT to be successful.
Q: How much does it cost in gas to run an excavator for 10hrs a day.?
Depends on the size of the excavator. Maybe you could rephrase the question to get a more accurate answer.
Q: What does it mean to walk an excavator and how do u do it?
re-ask the question and put it into some context. I'm a builder and I have no idea what you're talking about.
Q: them outside right now at my father-in-law's. I'm pretty sure the perc rate will be between 1-5 minutes for 1 inch of water, but we're going to do the official test in a little bit to check. The soil here is sandy and it's a three bedroom house with 3 people living in it and 4 people who visit almost every weekend.
12-15 ft deep - thats pretty deep
Q: Since ore grades continue to get lower and lower it would seem that we will never run out of metals in the foreseeable future. Is this because mining methods are more efficient and economical?
Ore grades are getting lower and lower, but at a certain point, the decrease will no longer be compensated by more efficient methods. Economies of scale can only go so far. At some point it just becomes impractical and impossibly expensive to make equipment bigger. The reason we can mine less economical ore is because metal prices are increasing (or alternately, metal prices are increasing because we use less economical ore). Price is the driving force behind a lot of materials choices. The auto industry uses galvanized steel in place of aluminum because it's cheaper. But we have about 20 years of currently economical zinc ore reserves and over 100 years of bauxite (aluminum ore) reserves, so at some point (probably around 20 years from now), it will likely be cheaper to use aluminum (or some sort of composite) in place of galvanized steel for car bodies.
