Q:I have purchased a plastic sheets (similar to the office cair mate ) to put it on the carpet (only on the walk-way). But I don't know (the best way) how do I stick the plastic sheet to the carpet ?. Please help.I have used the packing tape to stick it together. It doesn't work well. Please help: if you bought the right kind it should have lil things like on the bottom of soccer shoes so that it adheres to the carpet

There are also zippers sold for sheet plastic, so you can make a temporary doorway when you need to seal off part of your house from construction dust. You could use that and just never open the zipper. Google peel and stick zipper.

I have tried nail polish remover, WD-40, bleach, soap and water, rubbing alcohol, body spray, vinegar, hair spray, and even liquid sandpaper and only the nail polish remover affected it but only very little, it just made the ink a bit more transparent but it didn't remove it completely. Is there anyway to remove the ink completely: I've had a lot of success removing permanent marker off of plastic with Staedler white erasers. Depending on how fragile the plastic is (sorry - I don't know much about trading cards!) it might be tricky. Also, if the plastic is at all rough or porous it probably won't work well either. I'm military, however, and we use permanent marker to mark laminated maps, and erasers when we need to change the markings...and this sounds like it could be a similar situation. Good luck!
