Q: Hi! I'm wondering where i can find a roll of really big plastic to cover carpet... Q: We are in the process of building a roof over our concrete 10x10 patio. We have put 2 4x4's on the front two corners and the other edge without 4x4s is attached to the side of the house. We are using 2x6's along the length of it as support along the top and then will top with 1x4's before putting on the roof sheets of our choosing. Our neighbor that has helped us used white plastic looking sheets on his roof of the same design (I believe the brand is tuftex?). When we went into the store the other day I noticed Green Metal Sheets (Tin I believe)... the price difference isn't really an issue but I want it to be decent quality at the same time... any suggestions or comments on the pros and cons of each? Q: I've been given the responsibility by a family member to take care of 500-600 full stamp sheets from the 60's 70's. They are currently stored kind of haphazardly in large envelopes that, surprisingly, has kept them in really nice condition. But at this time I'd like to take the time to store them properly for preservation and presentation. Such beautiful stamps should not be kept in hiding. So the question is, where to buy reasonably priced, but archival quality sheet protectors for stamp sheets? One thing I do know is they cannot be a vinyl based product. Thanks!: I don't know exactly WHERE to purchase them.....I 'googled' and found a supplier that I like. but the TYPE of envelopes that I use are called glassine. They are great for storage.....but are slightly opaque so may not be the best for presentation. Ask at your post office, its where I first asked. I know plastic wrap will work, but this is plastic sheet, and is much better,stronger and will still let light in correct? And for a greenhouse, does there need to be a few holes in the walls and roof to let air through, or should it be basically sealed completely? Thanks for any help!: don't poke or cut hole in plastic, it will make a weak point that will tear. heavy plastic sheeting tears. you do need to vent the house though frame some openings at one peak near top and corresponding hole near bottom on other end. cover both openings with screen or hardware cloth to kep critters out.
