Q: Which type of glue or past to past 2 plastic sheet.{ recycle sheet}to start a small Business
I would ask them at staples.
Q: Are plastic sheets suitable for outdoor furniture?
Plastic sheets can be suitable for outdoor furniture, depending on the specific type of plastic used. Some plastics, such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE), are specifically designed to withstand outdoor conditions and resist fading, cracking, or warping due to sunlight, moisture, and temperature changes. It is essential to choose plastic sheets that are UV-stabilized and weather-resistant to ensure their durability and longevity when exposed to the elements.
Q: I have some pages of transparency sheets (for printing overhead transparencies on a standard inkjet or laser printer) that I want to glue to a Plaskolite board so that the glue won't show. Flexibility is not an issue, so it doesn't matter how stiff the dried product is, but it MUST be as clear-drying as possible, and if such a thing exists in an acid-free or archival form, that would be even better (but not necessary). Thanks!
Any clear drying adhesive should work but archival quality might be a real challenge. Apply the adhesive in a uniform layer covering the entire surface of the transparency.
Q: Can plastic sheets withstand high temperatures?
Plastic sheets can vary in their ability to withstand high temperatures, depending on the type of plastic used. Some plastics, like polypropylene and polycarbonate, have good heat resistance and can withstand high temperatures without deforming or melting. However, others, like PVC or polyethylene, have lower heat resistance and may deform or melt at high temperatures. It is important to consider the specific type of plastic sheet and its intended application when determining its ability to withstand high temperatures.
Q: Can plastic sheets be used for flooring?
Yes, plastic sheets can be used for flooring. They are commonly used as a cost-effective and easy-to-install option for temporary or low-traffic areas. However, it is important to note that plastic sheets may not be as durable or long-lasting as other flooring materials, and their suitability for specific applications should be assessed based on factors such as foot traffic, moisture resistance, and desired aesthetic.
Q: Are plastic sheets resistant to graffiti?
Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to graffiti as it is more difficult for paint or markers to adhere to their smooth surface.
Q: considering using sturdy plastic poster-board or something similar to cover different gaps in the under-body to smooth it out and hopefully improve fuel efficiency. ideas on what to use wanted.I have a small coupe, i am not looking to pay to lower my car. i would like ideas to help me patch up the underbody please. cheap fix to try and save money; very handy and open to strange ideas. all help welcome;please helpful thoughts only thanks
i hope u rnt seriously considering adding plastic underneath ur car...... 1 word......FIRE HAZARD!!!!! or is that 2 :)..... but yea don't do that now if ur talking about adding a front air dam u gonna need something stronger than poster board..... and btw most modern vehicles come wind tunnel tested from the factory... so u probably wont b improving much anyway.... and even if u do i doubt that u will actually see mpg improvements....
Q: i am working on an art project and I am wondering if there is a crafty type way for me to transfer the typed text from one sheet of paper to another (like to lift the ink off the paper somehow). I am not concerned about the words being recognizable or readable, I just like the aesthetic of words that don't necessarily mean anything mixed with pictures. thanks!
It's called a photocopier. Photocopy the page onto a sheet of transparent plastic. Then lay the plastic over the new sheet where you want the letters to appear. If you don't want the plastic, the process is trickier. It still can be done. Photocopy the page onto plastic as before. Then lay the photocopied plastic sheet reversed on the photocopying glass. Copy onto a piece of paper. The result will be a sheet of paper with the letters reversed. Since photocopiers use toner that is baked onto the page, you need to take the sheet with reverse lettering and iron (using a hot iron) the reversed lettering onto the page you want it to appear. Since you are reversing a reversal, the result will be correct left-to-right. It might take several tries to get the technique down right, but it is do-able. Whether it is worth it, you'll have to determine.
Q: Are plastic sheets resistant to staining from food or beverages?
Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to staining from food or beverages.
Q: Whats the best way of approaching this??
I was a very late bed wetter. Your son needs to be told that many boys and girls wet their beds even when they are teenagers. It is just something that happens to some boys and girls as they grow up. I would have liked something like the pull up pants that substitute for a diaper and now are available for children and adults. They would be good to have plus an absorbent pad to put on the bottom sheet to protect the mattress. If he doesn't wet then he can reuse the pull up the next night. If all you can find are diapers, then he needs to know that even mommies, and daddies, and older brothers and sisters use them if they have bed wetting, or wetting problems. He needs to know that he is still a big boy and will out grow wetting the bed. Now you could be talking about a teenager. They wet the bed too. If it is infrequent then they will out grow it in time. Even they would likely prefer to be in a diaper or pull up then awaking in a soggy wet bed. If the wetting is very frequent then the child needs a doctors visit for help.
