- I can honestly say the best thing to use for hamster bedding is plain toilet or kitchen paper. Its soft, warm economical and the most safest thing for little hammies to sleep in. One tip....rip the tissue up and throw it all over the cage and watch your little friend racing about stuffing it in his cheeks and carrying it off somewhere to make up his bed!! Hamsters are nesters and love to build up their on bed. It will keep you ammused for hours to watch him, and he will love it.

- Platform beds are basically boxes. Most are low to the ground, but if you are going to make one, there is nothing stopping you from making it higher! Platform beds usually do not have box springs, just the mattress, which is why they are lower. If you use a box spring also, it should be normal height. Look at captain's beds. They are the same design, but usually higher than platform beds.

- Q: I'm a college student and I'm moving out of the dorms into an apartment. It's not a furnished apartment so I'm trying to choose between a futon bed or just a rollaway bed. Which one would you guys recommend?
- A roll away bead because they are an actual bed. A futon is not very supportive for your spine and back. You would be less stressed and have more room when sleeping on a real bed. Yes a futon is cooler, but no one will judge you. It's a bead.

- The bed frame looks gorgeous - very mod. For the bedding i would go for number three, because although its a bit younger than the rest the dark green underside and pillows definitely makes it transitional - or if not number three then number 4 - very grown up and a pretty color.
