- Q: Our house is INFESTED with fruit flies. And our house is extremely clean and the house itself is extremely nice. We're not dirty people. - It is not a girl's thing! There is a men's garden club of america association with clubs in 17 or so states across the nation. Not only are they avid gardeners, they are also into civic projects. But back to you...........I've met many, many men to love to garden......some grow everything others specialize: veggies, flowers, cactus, etc. Don't think of it as girlie. The majority of the most beautiful gardens I've seen have been done by men. So dig that dirt to your heart's content.

- I've been to the one in St. Louis. I enjoyed it. There were many interesting, fun things to see. Lots of useful information booths, too. I went a couple of years ago to the one in downtown St. Louis. If you enjoy home decor and, especially, gardening and landscaping, I think you'd enjoy the show.

Make your showers 10 minutes or less. 8. Use Blackle instead of Google. Using websites with black pixels uses less energy than white pixels. 9. Try to landscape your lawn with xeriscape. 10. Recycle, reuse, retrofit, and restore rather than buy new things.
- Q: I have looked at Lowes, Home Depot, Garden stores and I still can't find replacements seat and canaopy cushions for my outdoor garden swing do they even sell replacements?
- If your looking for Grayson S04148 swing with 2 seats a storage center and reclines with foot rest I found the web site but heres the kicker they want $324.00 for two cushions exact match replacements. But the darn whole swing did not cost that! Was like $140.00 or less at Walmart. I contacted them via online site and told them same thing and good luck on selling them! I m going to make jute woven supports and make due with the $60.00 replacement cushions I bought at Lowes. They don t cover the foot area but I can fix that also by either taking it off or making a cushion for it out of another replacement cushion, or sew one. Hope this helps someone.

- you do realize that the garden needs some bugs to survive, there are good bugs that take care of a lot of the bad bugs , you start putting in bug killers and your going to wipe out the good bugs too. . . like bees,ladybugs,butterflies,and some garden spiders not to be negative but I just read a article about some bug killers that have wiped out a entire species of honey bees and I am just sure it wont stop there.
