Q: would it be cheaper to get plants and flowers from a garden center or from home depot or something like that?: They're often cheaper at mass retailers like Wal Mart or Home Depot but they are often poorly cared for. They cost more at nurseries and garden centers but usually the care is excellent and you have less loss.

Thanks, good luck to you all :): i am a wedding planner and over the years have done more outdoor garden weddings than anything. they are lovely romantic weddings and can be more beautiful than any other kind. june is normally a good month for an outdoor wedding since it is normally not a hot part of the summer, but the flowers are lovely and the weather is usually more stable in june than in the spring. if you are having it in a private home garden, you may wish to invest in having the area sprayed for bugs a week or so prior to the event. most public venues are regularily sprayed, but private gardens might need a little attention in that area. it also doesn't hurt to have a back up plan incase of inclement weather.
