Q: My Vacbag keeps splitting when I use it, why does it keep doing that?

Your Vacbag may not be the one suited for your unit, as it will split if it is not the right size for the vacuum cleaner. The bag itself is not an issue with size or shape, but if the hose doesn’t fit into it then it breaks it. We have a range of Vacbags for many models of vacuum cleaners, we can always see if one fits your model or if there is a distributor near you.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q: How efficient are vacuum cleaners in preventing the dust and other dirt that they suck from escaping through the air outlet. I'm using a Khind branded wet and dry vaccum cleaner model VC 3661, priced about USD 60, manufactured in 2004. The type that is shaped like a bucket and has its air outlet facing upwards and a removable, washable cotton bag inside. I notice that it has only two layers (slices) of dark -colored Sponge like material when I remove the air outlet cover. Is that sufficient to prevent dust, dirt and most importantly bacteria from coming out form the cleaner itself. It could be releasing the bacteria and spreading it all over the place.: Many vacuum cleaners do an excellent job of picking up dust and dirt. Those that use bags to dispose of the sweepings do a good job of retaining the dust and dirt in the bag. Whether it eliminates bacteria is not indicated on the bag.

Q: i turn it on,it emits this stink like warm spoiled cheese. i never used it for anything other than my carpet,and i never used it to clean anything wet. and the machine isn't even a year old yet. i purchased it brand new.: Cleaning the hose i detach it from the machine and provided that it's not a current carrying hose what i do is a partially fill the hose with warm water and dish soap then i move the ends up and down to swish the water through the hose be sure to rinse it out with water and then if you can blow it out or hang it up and do not use it till it's dry

Q: I should also add that I need a vacuum cleaner that has strong suction and is good for picking up cat hair.: I have a couple of Oreck vacuum cleaners. They have disposable bags. They are powerful and light weight. You need the Oreck hand vacuum that goes with the upright Oreck as there is no hose on the main unit. Oreck has a small vacuum with all the hose attachments and it also has a disposable bag. Very handy for doing stairs. I've had mine for about eight years with no problems at all.

Q: Hi there,I know that a lot of bagless vacuums are sold as quot;Cyclonicquot;, but I remember hearing somewhere that only Dysons actually remove all the dirt from the air by cyclonic action, whilst the rest also rely on filters. Is it true that other companies can not (due to patents, etc.) make vacuum cleaners that work in exactly the same way as a dyson, or is it just an urban myth created by clever marketing on the part of dyson?If anyone (in the UK) has a vacuum they think is comparable to a dyson, I'd love to hear about it, cheers.: I have the Eureka Boss SmartVac and I love it! It does a great job. I have kids, pets, and a husband who works construction, and it gets up all their dirt/dust/hair/etc... The suction is great and it has a switch to turn the beater bar off so you can use it on any hard floor surface. It's not bagless, but I had a bagless before, and I would never have another one again. It's very reasonably priced and I can't see how a Dyson could outclean it. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Q: is there a way i can get him out or he is pretty much dead? he went up thru the tube extention thingy while i was vacuuming on accident so help me please: Well take him/her out! But gently pull him out slowly if he/she is alive. Don't yank, and just do it slowly in a twisting motion.

If an undisciplined and uncontrolled dog is allowed by its thoughtless and inconsiderate owner to run over and is “in his face” assertive throwing its weight around, that will be stopped by “telling” the other dog not to mess with him by his confident posture and vocalization. By nature he is a confident, sound, even tempered and mellow dog that does not look for trouble or instigate a fracas but neither will be back down and run/cower if a dog is shows aggression. The ***** is reactive to a couple of sounds, and either stands by my side, knowing that I will handle her problems or checks back at me and if she sees I am calm and confident, will think there is no reason to be anxious and forget about it quickly.

Q: I've seen the robot vacuum cleaners before (iRobot Roomba) and they seem really cool. But in reading about them, it seems like the mostly work on bare floor or super short carpet. Are there any models that work with normal medium length carpet?: Roomba Carpet

I have around $300 to spend on a target gift card.: I would DEFINITELY go with the Dyson they are the greatest thing since sliced bread.If you have pets in the house the DC7 animal would be a better choice .My Dyson DC15 animal picks up me doggy hair BETTER than if I got down there with duct tape on my hands.Dyson is a great value you made a good choice,I'm not sure what the price difference is mine was an anniversary gift so I think the 07 will be just great if you don't have animals and if you do I would strongly recommend the 07 animal and the animals pick up kids messes too.Good Luck which ever one you decide on you will be very pleased I'm sure.
