Q:How to repair the vacuum cleaner fan?
Remove the cover of the motor and remove the motor from the frame of the vacuum cleaner. The dust collector will be located under the motor
Q:How old do you think is old enough to use a vacuum cleaner?
Whatever age they can push it around. They don't have to do a superb job - just praise whatever they do! We bought a new vacuum where you can see the dust go inside it - my 8 year old loves it! He especially loves the clink when it sucks up a big crumb or something. However, I would caution that you want to teach them to clear the area of toys and other small objects that might break the vacuum, before starting.
Q:what brand do you recommend? I have 900 sq ft of carpet. I might replace the carpet with tiles. how long can a small vacuum like that work without engine getting too hot and shut down?is it expensive to maintaing?
No, but I do know how to spell INCENSE. Unlike you.
Q:I have a memory foam mattress topper that was vacuum packed in its original box, and when I took it out originally, it expanded to many, many times its original vacuum packed size. I live far away and need to ship it to myself now, but now that it's not vacuum packed and shrunk, I can't get it much smaller than the largest of my suitcases. Is there any place that I can go to get it industrially shrink wrapped or vacuum packed (preferably in the DFW area) so that I can get it down to at least a fraction of its original size? The home vacuum sealers won't do the trick; this mattress pad is much too strong and large for what they are intended to do. I've tried and nothing works, I'm thinking only an industrial stength vacuum packer will work.
This may be a long shot, but I know meat packing plants have large vaccuum sealing machines. Maybe you could find one in your area that would do it for you for a small fee. Hopefully it wouldn't come out smelling like chicken!
Q:Do roomba vacuum cleaners really work well? What are their advantages and shortages?Do you have one?
yes im interested in a roomba
Q:Why don't they make gasoline powered vacuum cleaners?
There are diesel powered vacuum cleaners. Unlike gasoline engines, diesel engines do not make carbon monoxide. What I like best about my John Deere Acu-vac2000 is the there is no power cord to trip over.
Q:It's a big pain to loop them around those two hooks. I have a bad back and hate all that bending over to do so. Plus, when I turn the top hook to get the cord off and usable it gets all twisted. It's so nice with a canister vac to just touch the button with my toe and ZIPPP, it's all tidy.
Sears does. Their Kenmore brands have retractable cords. I have one. It is a canister vacuum with carpet attachments. Works great does the job of two vacuums.
Q:I've had my Dirt Devil bagless for only a few years. It was running just fine before we moved to our new house. Our new house has berber carpet. My vacuum does not move well on this type of carpet with a lot of dragging. What is a smooth flowing vacuum for very low carpet?
I've had my Dyson Animal for 3 years now and have not had any problems with it whatsoever. It picks up everything! We bought ours refurbished from OKorder and paid about $400 with shipping, which was a big savings then. I'm not sure how much they run now, but well worth the money!
Q:I have four cats and most of my house is carpeted. I've had horrible luck with vacuum cleaners. Should I break down and get a high end vacuum cleaner? (No, vacuum cleaner salesmen, Please.)
Don't buy a bottom of the line model, but you shouldn't have to spend $400. I have had several cheap models in the past, so that last one I bought I made sure it had the largest tubes available. It cost me about 120 with tax and has worked great for over a year. My cat sheds like crazy, I fill up the bagless chamber about once every 2 vacuums.
Q:I mean money. Our company pay based on how many clients we sign. The top sales persons can sign 3 person per day on average. And that is $40 Australian dollars per sign. On my first day, I signed one customer successfully, but my boss told me that he had a problem with my working attitude. Now let's do that maths, we work 10 hours per day, and if we sign 3 people, that is $120/ 10 hours, that is $12/hour. If we are not lucky, (just like my quot;bosson that day), we could only sign 2 people, then it's $80/ 10 hours, that is $8 per hour. To compare, the a waiter in China town earns $8 per hour. And if I am not lucky, I can only sign one person, that is $4 per hour.I am not very happy with the pay and the quot;bossis having problem with my working attitude --- he wants me to work harder. Well I am currently in uni, let's be realistic, can I find a job with better pay than this? Should I leave the job or not?I have to reply to my boss if I want the job or not by tonight. Thanks
Are you selling vacuum cleaners door to door, or tete-marketing? That's what it sounds like to me. I'm sure you can find a job with much better wages and conditions. If it were me, I'd tell him to stick his job where the sun don't shine. Possibly you may wish to be a little more polite than me. Cleaners etc earn more than that, without the hassles. You're being used and abused. You can do better, in my opinion. p.s. Sounds like a scam to me. Who's dumb enough to give out their bank details to someone on the street. I know they're out there, gullible twits. You'd be better off far, far away.
