- Q: Why is weak resin relatively easy to regenerate?
- The resin used for a period of time after ion exchange, adsorption of impurities is close to saturation, must carry on the regeneration treatment, chemical agent ion adsorption resin and other impurities was removed, so as to restore the original composition and performance. In practice, in order to reduce the cost of regeneration, it is necessary to appropriately control the dosage of regeneration agent, so that the performance of the resin can be restored to the most economical and reasonable regeneration level, and the recovery degree of the control performance is usually from 70 to 80%. If higher levels of regeneration are achieved, the regeneration dose will increase considerably, and the utilization of the recycled agent will decrease.The regeneration of the resin shall be based on the kind and characteristics of the resin, as well as the economy of the operation, and the proper regeneration agent and working conditions shall be chosen.The regeneration characteristics of resin are closely related to its type and structure. The regeneration of strong acid and strong alkaline resin is difficult. The regeneration dose is much higher than the theoretical value, while the weak acid or weak base resin is easy to regenerate, and the regeneration dose needs only a little more than the theoretical value. In addition, resins with large pass and low cross linking degree are easy to regenerate, while those with gel type and high crosslinking degree have longer regeneration reaction time.

- If you use a glue to attach the stone after the resin has cured, try using a 2-part epoxy glue since it's the same basic stuff. You might also just use a bit of 2-part epoxy resin as glue to attach the stone to the cured molded resin just apply a bit of it to the back of the stone, apply to the cured resin, then let the new resin cure. You used the term embed though rather than just putting the stone on top of the resin, so the only thing I can think of would be to use a mold which created a recess on the top of the cast, then put the stone into the recess after curing and add a bit more resin around it. Or you could grind out a depression in the cured resin instead. Or you could perhaps apply the resin on top of the cured resin in a large enough pool that it would come up around the edges of the stone when the stone was pressed onto it, creating a kind of embedding. Or, especially if the original cast resin isn't flat, you could create a well on top of the cured resin with non-drying kids' modeling clay, then pour the new resin around and under the stone inside that well (remove clay after curing). - I've been told many times never to use epoxy with acryllic because acrylic is water based. Water based things, especially in large amounts, do not work well in epoxy. The fast drying of acrylic is half the problem. It dries through a much different process and chemical situation than epoxy. You can use very little amounts, but for all intensive purposes, dont use acrylic. oil paint is much better but dont use a terribly large amount either because it will gum up the epoxy and it will dry very slow

- Not all do. The slide locks open on the follower and is held by a catch, (slide release), so that the magazine can be dropped. Yes, inserting a full magazine and releasing the catch, closing the slide does chamber a round. (In a single action type weapon the hammer must be 'dropped' to achieve a 'safe carry' position. Most do not favor 'c*cked and locked' carry.)

You need to be responsible to have and use a cell phone with video. There are times you can get yourself in serious legal trouble using it to spy and invade privacy. - I would definately go with the resin wicker. It has the same exact look as wicker, but its made out of a protective, tough material that is specifically made to hold up to the elements. If you have to go with regular wicker you will need to be sure to seal it with a spray sealer at least once a year and you should not leave it out during any cold spells or snow. Resin will give you peace of mind without having to sacrifice the look of real wicker!

- may depend on how permanent they are to be , for time or weather, or other conditions, when making paper mache, you usually use flour and waiter paste mix, some add white glue, you could try more white glue, and water and no flour, since you plan not to use resin/ epoxy/ cement type glue or hardeners, carpenters glue like white may be ideal, but if to withstand weather , rain, heat, then eventually items would fall apart, it for indoors and show, then that should be ok, you also have option to paint exterior area for more protection , ..
