- How the heck did you get smoke resin in a duck call? lol Well, I'm not sure you can remove the resin, but I do know that you can remove resin from a pipe with rubbing alcohol, so that would be your best bet. Soak the duck call in a bowl of rubbing alcohol for at least 7 hours. Then clean with pipe cleaners. (You can buy pipe cleaners at any tobacco shop.) If the duck call is wood, test a spot first to make sure the rubbing alcohol doesn't hurt the wood. If this treatment fails, I think your only solution is to buy a new duck call. Good luck. -
