- Well, the resin still contains THC. THC can show up in urine tests from 3 days to a month, depending on how often you use it. - Q: I make a lot of things out of resin, but the idea for my next project is I want to make a coffee table with sand and shells andbeachy stuff. My question is, how do I pour the resin over the sand? Will the sand bubble up and float (I know sand doesn't float per se)or is there another way I have to do this? I want to the whole table to be sand, so any help will be great!
- The catalyst is like an activator with the resins I've used. Once resin is dry, it is heat resistent to a point and once the temperature rises above that it will melt. For example, I have cast resin statuary in the garden which experiences temperatures over 100 degrees where I live and it doesn't melt. But, resin definitely melted when the wild fires roared through here last year because it was subjected to direct heat and flame.

- IF the polymer has been baked rigid to make a reusable mold, if the release works you may still have trouble getting the casting out unless it is shaped exactly right. A soft latex or silicone rubber mold (latex backed by plaster) may work better for a limited run - each of these from a modeling clay original - how will you make the polymer clay (not really modelling) mold - from a model or by hand shaping it.

- Depends on type of resin and application. Different resin bases are made from different sources thereby having unique requirements for extraction and modifying. The type, use and composition of the resin will also determine cure time. There are resins that cure in 12 hours and others that cure in more than 12 months (one used by the Egyptians from fish oil for the composite bows). Look up the various types and what they are made of, applications and cure times and then explore the types you are interested in.
