TC5010 hydraulic self-lifting tower crane is a new-style hoisting and transporting machine designed to meet the need of assembling high-level construction equipment. The product is an upper rotary self-lifting kind with horizontal jib, trolley amplitude. The length of the jib is 50m, rated maximum lifting capacity is 5t, Tip load at 50 m is 1t and rated maximum lifting moment is 570kN.m. The following is the main characteristics.

1. Wide applicability. The applicability is ranging from civil construction in small and medium cities, to high-rise, multi-layered civil construction in big cities. It can also be used in the construction of multi-layered industrial factories, in the slip-form construction of huge chimneys and silos and in goods loading in port or goods yard.

2. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Hydraulic jacking device is employed to increase or reduce crane standard section to adjust crane height to construction height.

3. High speed, easy adjustment, stable operation and high efficiency. Low speed with heavy load and high speed with light load can be realized through lifting structure. Two kinds of speed of trolley can meet operational needs. Open stopper is equipped to slewing structure, enabling precise placement and easy assembly of crane.

4. Complete protective and reliable safety devices. The product is equipped with weight limit, moment limit, height limit, trolley limit and slewing limit to ensure normal operation. Besides rest platform, protective railings are also equipped.

5. Driver’s cabin is separately set. It is broad, bright, comfortable, safe and easy to operate.

The product is supplied with the basic height (Free standing) 32.5m.If it is used in high-rise construction, the number of standard sections and attached devices can be increased to meet consumers’ needs. The maximum height of the product is 120m.

Q: Hi, I just bought a 12 foot tommy jib crane, for my cannon x1-h1, I also bought a pan and tilt motor that you put on top of the camera mount at the end of the jib and then add your camera on top of your motor mount. This thing is really heavy now, I have to use 40 lbs for a counter weight. On top of that all the weight is making the jib slanted and shooting crooked. So I took off the motor head and just left the camera on there, and it help a bit, but its still crooked. Is there any fix for this other than buying a more expensive stronger jib crane? It shoots great and I know I can fix the video in post, but it just bothers me. Any help?: When you added the pan/tilt head (and the cable) to the camcorder, you exceeded the supported weight rating of the crane and the crane stage. Then, when you put 40 pounds of counter weights on, you went way over the engineered capacity of the crane arm resulting in the bend.

Such as if you reinforced the design a little bit will it work?: It might - but the center of gravity and the tripod might not be able to hold the weight of the jib, camera, counter-weights... and personally, I think it would be a pretty expensive mistake to watch my $2,000 camcorder fall and brake because the camera crane collapsed under the weight. A mic tripod is designed to handle about a pound of weight. A consumer camcorder, the jib and counterweights (and maybe a mic or whatever else you throw on there) can be between 5 pounds and 50 pounds. That's why companies like Kessler make what they make. And that's why the companies that makes lesser camera cranes (Cobra, CameraCranes, and others) never use a mic tripod. They use a heavy duty camera tripod or other LARGE, STRONG, item - not a mic stand.
