FAQ

Q: What is the difference between CNBM and CMAX?

A: CNBM stands for China National Building Materials (Group) Corporation, which is established in 1984, is the largest state-owned group corporation of building material & machinery with a total asset of 15 billion USD and a staff of 100000.

CMAX is the brand name of CNBM Group’s construction products, C stands for China and Max stands for Maximum.

Q: What is the principal to quote the right tower crane to the client?

A: First, we need to know clients’ requirements. Normally the following information should be clarified by the client: max lifting capacity, height (height under hook), tip load and jib length.

Second, we need to know what the foundation requirement from the client is. (Fixed/undercarriage/ undercarriage with traveling system), mast section type (panel/integrated), power supply source (voltage, ampere and frequency), the distance between the machine and power supply……

Third if there are special needs, CNBM could suggest proposal according to clear data provided by the clients. End-user, as construction machinery buyer, knows the site situation well and should make decision, such as the machinery specification, type…….

Q: What about our tower crane's warranty?

A: Usually there is one-year quality warranty including main electronic parts (not including consumable parts). There are consumable spare parts together with whole machine and normally they are enough for one year.

Q: What is 3 main mechanism of the tower crane?

A: there are trolleying mechanism/ slewing mechanism/ hoisting mechanism.

Q: Can you equip with light on tower crane jib, monitor, remote control and anemometer?

A: Sure. All of these could be provided with extra cost upon the clients’ requirements. But according to general practice, remote control is not suggested because most of the operator feedback operation in the cabin will provide a wide working view.

Q: Is there an effective utility for estimating the required size of a crane? I’m an estimator for a mechanical contractor, and it seems we never allow enough money for crane rental. How can I effectively adjust my estimates?
Sub contract this one section of crane use out to an rigging company using a flat rate. That way if they need a larger crane it is on them the down side is they always bill high but there will not be over runs.
Q: Is the tower crane a special type of work?
Certainly, it belongs to the high-altitude workers, not the special workers, what is the tower crane talent network is a platform for the exchange of tower.
Q: how to draw a crane hook on auto cad?
Measure a crane hook then draw it. Even better, visit a manufacturer's web site and see if you can download one of their drawings for a hook.
Q: What does tower crane jacking up mean?
Jack beam and the lifting sleeve frame is connected with the movable claw beam under the fulcrum can fall in the tower body section on the top step.
Q: Once, I pulled a book off a shelf in a library and found a very uplifting message on a sticky note that made my day. It's inspiring me to do the same, only with paper cranes since I love origami. I'm going to college in the city, and I was thinking about writing positive messages on them and planting them everywhere (discreetly, of course). What are your thoughts on this? It sounds fun, but what are the consequences? Is it even that big of a deal, or do you think it's a waste of time?
I love doing things like this! Whenever my friends go to the mall we do this. We put inspirational quotes and images everywhere we can. In the pockets of clothing, on top of the sale signs, all over the cafeteria. There isn't anything wrong with doing it, and people love it! I'm sure the cranes will be beautiful and many people will appreciate them. Be sure to write look inside on the outside of each crane if you're hiding the message on the inside! This is such a cool idea, I'd love it and I'm sure it won't even be a slight nuisance to anyone. Have fun!
Q: a. its season of migrationb.the route it followsc.how is it guidedd.distance it travels in a yeare.reason behind migrationplz help me..ill be highly grateful!!!!
This species breeds in arctic Russia in Yakutia and western Siberia. It is a long distance migrant. The eastern population winters on the Yangtze River in China, the central population at Keoladeo National Park, India and the western population in Fereidoonkenar and Esfahan in Iran. It breeds and winters in wetlands, where it feeds on the shoots, roots and tubers of aquatic plants. This is a large white crane. Large males can exceed 140 cm (55 inches) in length and weigh over 10 kg (22 lbs). Adults are all white, except for a dark red mask extending from the bill to behind the eye. It has a yellow iris and reddish legs. The male is slightly larger than the female. Juveniles have a feathered mask and buff or cinnamon plumage. The voice is flute-like and musical. The status of this crane is critical, as it is expected to undergo a rapid population decline in the near future. The wintering site in China holding 95% of the population is threatened by hydrological changes caused by the Three Gorges Dam. Historic records from India suggest that a number of them wintered there in the past. This number has steadily declined and the birds are no longer found there. Mr. Rutledge of Entally told me that for twenty years he tried unsuccessfully to get live specimens of this crane, but did not succeed till a few years ago, when he and one of the native dealers got so many that the market was quite glutted, and many were sent to Europe. Since then the bird got scarce again, so this was evidently only a temporary invasion. —Frank Finn, Frank Finn in How to know the Indian waders. 1906 The Siberian Crane is one of the species to which the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA) applies and is subject of a Memorandum of Understanding concluded under the Bonn Convention. =]
Q: so yeah i know that cranes do the main work but i guess there are no such really toll cranes to do that with skyscrapers ?
They put a crane on the ground, and they build 5 stories, say. Then they put the crane on top of the 5th story, and build another 5 stories, then they put it on the 10th story and build 5 more, etc. Or it's hanging on the side of the building, moving upwards as the building rises.
Q: i need to write a 2 pg paper on this, and i cant even begin
Stpehen Crane used interesting literary techniques such as colorful metaphors which can easily be identified in eg like knowing eyes which represent the people of Dunnet (ammons, 84). Another literary technique he uses often is irony which is seen in chapter with Mrs. Todds variety of personality which shows how Mrs. Todd has this varied personality(eden, 141). Other literary techniques shown are comparisons and contradictions, dramatic personification and powerful paradox.
Q: I'm not scared of spiders anymore. If I see one than I can kill it easily, but when I see a daddy long legs crane fly, I freak out! Those things are hugeeee. I could never kill one without being freaked out to death. I heard that they don't even bite, but I'm still scared. There's one in my living room and I ran out. So I planned on staying in my room the whole day and just hope it doesn't show up in the bathroom tomorrow morning when I shower! I'm 14 btw?
This is a selective entomophobia. Basically, you don't fear many insects or spiders, but specific ones trigger your anxiety. Your problem is not the bugs or spiders,(they are harmless) but your fear. This is something 'you' nurture by dwelling on this fear when you see one of these particular critters. I'm glad to hear you no longer fear spiders. you will see the same when you overcome your selective fear. You may even come to realize that the spiders and insects you do fear, are totally harmless, and you may reach a point where you can just ignore these. True, the crane fly is totally harmless and do not bite, sting, or inflict any form of hazard to humans. They can be a nuisance buzzing around your face,as they can be persistent. Adolescent years seem to be when phobias are the most prevalent, but also the easiest time to overcome fears. If you can learn to control your fear, rather than let it control you, you will overcome this. you also need to refrain from dwelling on your fear,as this will only make it worse. Last year, one of my favorite pass times was sitting on the porch watching the sunset. a little orb weaver would come from behind the light and spin her fancy web. Often, I would catch a crane fly that was bothering me and toss it into her web.
Q: This poor little guy has been out on my balcony where I smoke my cigarettes for two days now. One wing is badly mangled and he can't fly away, I thought to just let him work it out yesterday in hopes of him healing on his own somewhere, but today he was climbing on my leg as if asking for help and I feel horrible for him now...he's suffering, he hasn't gone far in at least 24 hours I feel I should feed him and give him water until he heals...what do crane flies even eat?? Any advise aside of killing him and putting him out of his misery would be great!!
Well, it looks like they only have a lifespan of a 2 weeks at the most, so I'd just make him comfortable and let nature do its thing. According to Wikipedia, adult crane flies don't really eat--they just hang out and mate... If you really want, I suppose you could put some sugar water in a bottle cap or something for him.
