FAQ of Tower Crane
Q: What kinds of tower crane are available now?
A: Four main categories: normal tower crane with cat head, internal climbing tower crane, top less tower crane and luffing tower crane.
Q: What kind of steel used for tower crane?
A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.
Q: Your tower crane is similar to Potain or Liebherr type?
A: We could develop any type of tower crane as per clients’ requirements if the clear information is provided. Originally, our tower crane design is based on Liebherr; but now, we not only introduced Potain design; but also developed special tower crane according to the market needs such as TC5013A with panel mast section. In addition, we also produce some models same as Potain original model, such as F0/23B, H3/36B and etc.
- Q:I understand the Crane stances and know there are more than one. I am referring to the single leg crane stance. I also know that stances are only used briefly. But I am curious, does this stance have any bunkai applications? Or is it only useful against dodging a kick or preparing to kick?
- What you call Crane stance with a single leg in contact with the ground actually has many applications besides kicking. BTW: As I understand it, doesn't bunkai mean application? The single leg stance is also a mean to focus power from one rooted leg to your punch. The mechanics for a kick from the crane stance can also be used in a punch. It is actually the same. The force you exert from that single leg against the ground or your root-ness is transmitted through your body to the fist or even a block. Think about a situation where you are rapidly transferring your weight from one leg to the other such as when you are backpedaling or moving quickly and see an opening to strike. The power for that strike can still be generated by that one single leg in that instance when it is properly rooted. So rather than planting both legs first and then strike, you can do so with just that single leg that is already in place.
- Q:Tower crane 5610 why is it called QTZ63?
- Q is reusable, T is tower, Z is jack up, and combined is jack up tower crane. (this is the earliest known China, now the various manufacturers have their own name, some close to the French take, such as F0/23B, the tower jib 50 meters, a maximum weight of 10 tons, 2.3 tons of weight lifting arm tip)80 is the moment, the unit is t * m, (should say is the force multiplied by distance, 800kn.m) for 5613 cranes, the maximum lifting capacity of 8 tons, the boom length is 56 meters, arm tip lifting weight 1.3 tons, maximum weight in the range of 2.5 meters ---13 meters, calculation of 8 * 13=104, so the name is QTZ104, now the provisions should be a QTZ104, but before, people think is 8 tons of weight, so called QTZ80, is now available.
- Q:So Pretty much, there is a crane, and there are four blue minions on top. I can pick them up, and carry them back and forth, but I can't get them down. If I drop them in the middle they always die. Can somebody give me a way to beat this?
- Found the answer!:) By that point, if you did everything right you should have 8 blue minions. Put 6 of them on the crane and 2 of them(with a guard marker) in the middle where you ar gonna drop the ones from above. Then when you drop them, the ones guarding will pick them up and heal them.:) P.S.A tip, if you want the crane to come back slower don't remove all the minions from it, just remove 2 and the rest will slow it down. Hope this helped, have fun.:)
- Q:some people call it a crane, others say claw but the point is...where can i get one? i dont want a huge one, and i dont want a small one. A medium size one. the shops have to get them from somewhere right? oh, and i'd rather not get one from Ebay. is there a business or something? thank you!

- Q:You know those big cranes that sometimes hang above constructed buildings. I usually thought a crane is used to build that crane but then how is that first crane that built the crane get there in the first place?
- from the ground up
- Q:Remember. You heard it here first.
- It's okorder /.... Judging by the fact that a Google search results in many different companies/aircraft that incorporate the term 'air crane', I would say so. But it seems that the term is usually associated with heavy-lift rotorcraft. It also appears that the term is in the public domain. So, you could call it 'JV's Air Crane' or something like that. I've Googled SkyLift, AirLift, Zeplift- all taken However, DiriLift, DirigiLift, and ZepCrane yielded no results. *I relinquish all rights to these terms
- Q:My kid wants to pet a crane fly because it's cool but I don't want to keep it around as a pet. I'm not a fan of crane fly. How should I tell him no? Also, I'd like to explain to him besides the fact that it disgusts me: I don't like insects.
- just let him keep it . It wont live long any way!
- Q:A heavy concrete panel is being lifted into position in a building by means of a crane (see figure below). The tension of 1.78 x 10^4 N in the supporting cable produces a torque with respect to point O. (Let L = 46.3 m.)
- The crane contributes a torque of 495,979.8 Newton-meters. 1.78e+4 * 46.3 * cos(53.0) = 495,979.8 ...but this is not the total (net) torque. There is also a torque due to the weight of the concrete slab - torque we are ignoring since we do not know the weight of the slab.
- Q:Tower crane body standard section connection bolt screw upward or downward, why?.
- Usually it is worn from top to bottom, so that the nut is loose and the bolt will not fall directly
- Q:I am doing uni coursework to design an ergonomic layout for an operator cab for a tower crane and so I need to list the required operator controls. Thanks!
- There are only two control levers that are on a tower crane. There is one on either side of the seat called joy sticks the right side joy stick controls the hoist cable to go up and down pushed forward to go down and pulled back to hoist up.The left has four functions it controls the swing of the crane and also the boom of the crane to control the swing you push the lever to the left to swing left and push the lever right to swing right. You pull the lever back to boom up and puh it forward to boom down.
