Q: I have a few questions...do they have a shuttle and if so where does it go? What is near the resort? Such as stores etc.
Yes i stayed at the Crane, you must have a car....I had my black escalade at the time...so am not sure about shuttle service.
Q: i have an echo-1 m8a4 cqb it has a crane stock that fits a 9.6 1500mah battery but it wont fit a 2000mah so i want to switch to a full stock but im haveing trouble figuring out how to switch them. does anyone own this gun and know how to do it?
Ok, I can help. The first step is to take the crane stock off. To do so, extend the stock fully. Then, take the tab you use to extend it, and instead of pushing up to extend it, pull it down and slide the stock off. It make take some force. Be careful of any wires and that you don't break them! Next: take the buffer tube out. Take a long phillips head screw driver and stick it down the shaft. Remove the screw. The whole tube should come out. Don't lose the screw! Next: Install your stock. Next: Screw the screw back in to secure the stock. Done! Make sure the wires are still ok and that they are not pinched!
Q: I am familiar with them, I have seen them before at my previous houses. But this is the first spring season for me in the house I am living in and they are absolutely everywhere. They stay right out side the house and they are all over the yard. I want to know if anyone knows any possible ways to rid them from the vicinity of our home. Thanks for the answers.
Crane okorder / Since Crane Flies are attracted to light, I'd suggest you purchase a Bug Light or Bug Zapper and hang it in your backyard. They're very effective in controlling other flying insects as well. Hope this information was useful and you'll control these pesky and damaging insects. Q: Iv done some research and I cant seem to find a place that might sell jibs locally here in Phoenix. Iv been considering the ProAm DVC 200 crane but I would also like to see others in like a store. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated!
I went down that path last year in the SF Bay Area in California. I could not find a store that carried any cranes or jibs - so I just started asking around. Stay away from any that use cables to keep the stage steady - we used one at a shoot - setting up is an interesting challenge. I thought I wanted the same unit you are looking at - and decided I needed to trust the crane a bit more with my HDR-FX1... I had to wait longer to save more $, but I really like the crane and tripod kit I ended up with... from Kessler Crane... I never got to see it before I bought it and I was, um... nervous... but I am glad I made the investment - and Eric Kessler is REALLY helpful and great to work with. One of the other cranes I looked at uses a heavy duty PA speaker stand as its tripod base. After watching light trees and PA speakers fall over because of leg failure, I could not bring myself to trust them to hold my camcorder. I can STAND or JUMP on the Kessler tripod and it does not budge. It is rock-steady and really strong. The Hercules head is silk-smooth and the crane-arm and camera stage are steady and easy to manipulate. After a little practice, it now takes me about 10-15 minutes from the time I start unpacking until I am ready to start shooting. That includes mounting the camcorder, setting the counterweights, mounting a portable DVD player with AV-in as the monitor mounted to the tripod-head so I can see what the camcorder is shooting and running the AV, headphone and LANC cables and making the whole thing pretty with velcro strips.
Q: when high rise buildings are built a crane is erected to lift iron and cement up. How do they erect these cranes?
Construction cranes are erected on site. They are usually assembled on the ground with small cranes, then lift themselves up. The erection sequence is carefully figured, so minimal other equipment is needed. For conventional cranes that are permanent and thus only assembled once, portable cranes are used to erect them. Still, generally pretty much on the ground. Some have counterbalances that are permanently fixed, others have a rail type mechanism that moves in and out.
Q: In the case of tower crane operation, the operation should be stopped
In case of six or more gales, heavy rain, heavy fog, heavy snow or tower crane, you should stop working
Q: I just made origami cranes and want to hang them up, each by themselves with just a peice of string....how should i go about doing this? how is it usually done?
TAke a needle threaded with a long piece of black thread, and make a small knot at end of long thread. Push the needle thru the middle of the crane's back and pull the thread all the way thru the hole till the knot catches. pull the needle off the loose end of the thread and make another knot on that end. take a push pin or thumb tack and push the pin thru the knot, then push the pin or tack into the ceiling. FYI, tape never works - I have tried. The black thread lets them flutter a bit, and is invisible most of the time. p.s. ask your parents if you can hang stuff from the ceiling first. they may not want you to do that since it will leave holes in the ceiling when you take them down.
Q: A crane lifts a 2355 N bucket containing 1.81 m3 of soil (density=2084 kg/m3) to a height of 7.56 m. Calculate the work the crane performs.
Mass of soil(m) = V x d =m = 1.81 x 2084 = 3772.04 kg =Weight = m x g = 3772.04 x 9.8 = 36965.99 N Thus the total Force by crane = 36965.99 + 2355 = 39320.99 N Thus Work done (W) = F x s = 39320.99 x 7.56 = 297266.70 J = 297.27 kJ
Q: LCS , MCS , HCS?
My guess would be an alloyed medium carbon steel. But I dont specifically know.
Q: this is a little of a random question but why do you think that we should save the crested cranes of uganda? and what do you know about the crested cranes???
Because man is a reasoning being he has the capability of saving things. It is in our nature. Secondly, if man's activities are the cause of the Crane's extinction - destroyed its habitat or food source, then man should help reverse this.
