Main Features of Tower Crane
1) This series of tower cranes, ranging from QTZ40 to QTZ400 has a horizontal jib frame, a jib-trolley radius-changing mechanism and a hydraulic self-raising mechanism. - Do not know where you live but I worked in a Shipyard in South Mississippi That had Cranes which picked up Modules which weighed 100 tons. Most were in the range of 50 to 70 tons the limiting factor was the range of the lift away from the crane. The further away from the Crane the less the load limit but the Cranes were rail mounted so they could traverse and carry the load anywhere. We had one Crane capable of handling 500 tons, a real monster. These are all located at Pascagoula Mississippi. Most were imported from Germany.

- Q: I am in dyer need of a camera jib wih very little budget and/or tools to build one. I am wondering if i can use a cymbal stand for a crash cymbal as a camera jib? My idea is to modufy it by attatching a small piece of wood to the top screw where you would put a cymbal the screw in an L piece (metal) to it or attach it ti the arm of the stand and just snigly fit it so as the arm is raised and lowered the L pice compensates and stays strait. i would attach the camcorder to the L piece with a 1/4 inch screw and washers. i also need the arm to move smoothly will this work with a crash stand. all advice i am grateful for thanks

- I can't tell you what to write or what you see as the theme but one of the themes in the book is man versus nature. Maybe you could discuss the setting as part of nature and what Crane seems to be saying about it. One thing that might help is a poem Crane wrote which explains how he sees things. Maybe you already know it. It's titled A man said to the universe A man said to the universe, Sir, I exist! However, replied the universe the fact has not created in me a sense of obligation. An indifferent universe. Not unlike how Thomas Hardy saw things.
