8T QTZ125(6015)     FAQ

Q: What is tower crane?

A: Tower crane is a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete foundation (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction site.

Q: Can you equip with light on tower crane jib, monitor, remote control and anemometer?

A: Sure. All of these could be provided with extra cost upon the clients’ requirements. But according to general practice, remote control is not suggested because most of the operator feedback operation in the cabin will provide a wide working view.

Q: What is the function of the monitor?

A: Monitor, namely inspection system (like black box), which could store 10000 tower crane operation reports, and it is recommended to be installed in big cranes more than 16t.

Q: What kind of steel used for tower crane?

A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.

Q:Why is there as much evidence of Icabod Crane, as there is of god??
The devil is playing with your mind. Forget about it. God is who He says He is. Read the bible. Look at all the beautiful things He's created. Stop thinking and just believe.
Q:I started to make 1000 paper cranes to make a wish come true and before I start I have a few questions. How many times can you make 1000 cranes to make a wish come true? Do you have to string them? And how long do you have to make them?
I think it's a one time deal. You don't have to string them. You have as long as it takes. Look up Sadako Sasaki. She was a 12 year old Japanese girl who tried to fold 1000 cranes while in the hospital in the 1950's. She had A bomb disease, also know as leukemia. She got it because of the bombing of Hiroshima as a baby. She died after only making 650 or so cranes. It's a very good true story though.
Q:What are the four major moving mechanisms of a tower crane?
The metal structure includes the tower, the boom and the base. The working mechanism has four parts, lifting, luffing, turning and walking. There are many types of tower crane, if according to whether the walking mechanism, there is a fixed type and operation type; according to the tower structure is divided into rotary, inferior type, attached itself three; if divided by the amplitude, a trolley type, luffing type and folding arm luffing type three; according to the weight division, with light and medium and heavy three.
Q:Flocks of cranes shout'. Is it right to use the word'shout' here?
No, it's not. First, the collective noun for cranes—its term of venery—is either herd or sedge, not flock. Second, the sound a crane makes is a whoop, or when not a whoop but a rattling sound, it is a bulge, not a shout.
Q:My science teacher wants to know why cranes make work easier rather than just lifting an object yourself. She refers to the formula of force x distance. So i have to compare (in a way) the work of a human lifting an object and a crane lifting an object. Grrrr.... I hate this project!
The type of crane she is referring to ia a simple pole with a fulcrum placed between the person operating the crane, and the mass to be lifted. Imagine a weightless pole with a rope tied to one end attached to a mass of weight 224 lbs The pole is 9 feet long Let's say the human weighs 112 lbs, or half of what is to be lifted. Without a crane, it will be difficult to lift that much and swing it around. With the crane, though, let's look at the advantage when a fulcrum is placed under the pole and the person pushes down on the pole to lift the weight. First, note that gravity is in favor of the person to use their weight on the pole. Using physics, with the fulcrum place at x from the mass to be lifted, the downward force of the person is F*(9-x)=224*x or F=224*x/(9-x) now plug in some values for x and compute the force: x F 4.5 224 3.5 143 2.5 86 1.5 45 0.5 13 I started by placing the fulcrum exactly in the middle and then moving the fulcrum in increments of 1 foot closer to the weight to be lifted Notice that the more pole towards the person pressing down, the less force the person has to apply to lift the weight. Also, note that when the fulcrum is in the middle, the person must apply a downward force equal to the weight - which willl be difficult foir a person that weighs 112lbs. However, once the fulcrum is placed 2.5 ft from the weight, the person only need apply 86 lbs of downward pressure. Leverage. j

Q:Tower crane; command; gesture
1. prepare (note): arm extension, placed above the head, five fingers stretched out naturally, palm forward remain motionless.2. main hook: single hand natural fist, in the head, touch the head3. auxiliary hook: a hand clenched, small arm to immobile on the other hand, elbow, hand hand touch before.4. hook up: small arm to the side of the upper extension, five fingers natural extension, higher than the shoulder, with the wrist as the axis rotation.
Q:A crane lifts a 1265 kg steel beam vertically 26 m, it then stops and swings the beam 3 m horizontally into a position where the welders can secure it into its proper position. What is the work done on the beam by the crane? What is the work done by the force of gravity on the beam?
the work done on the beam by the crane = 1265 * 9.81 * 26 + 1265 * 9.81 * 0 = 322651 J answer work done by the force of gravity on the beam = 1265 * 9.81 * 26 + 1265 * 9.81 * 0 = 322651 J answer
Q:Preferable short poems or phrases in Chinese.
this one is about cranes We thought they were gulls at first, while they were distant- The two cranes flying out of a natural morning, They circled twice about our house and sank, Their long legs drooping, down over the wood. We saw their wings flash white, Frayed at the black tip, And heard their harsh cry, like a rusty screw.
