Q: I had this dream where I was watching a flock of Sandhill Cranes on a road. Cars were swerving to avoid them, but one sporty red car lost control and smashed into a brick wall, killing some of the birds. The rest of the cranes started freaking out, flapping their wings and coming towards me. They were so frightened that they started to defecate too. Soon though, there was so much bird poop that it became like a river ready to engulf me. It was like a glowing white too (really weird, I know). Then, their legs turned into human legs, and the cranes turned into tall, beautiful humans with wings - angels, I think. These beings radiated power and filled me with terror as they approached. They must have been 8 feet tall and they towered over me. One red-headed angel looked at me when he passed, and I was so terrified that I woke up.Any ideas about what this could mean? It's one of the most powerful dreams I've ever had.
First of all, to see a crane in your dream, represents happiness, maternal love, and your gestures of good will. You look out for those who are near and dear to you. Alternatively, a crane signifies tact, immortality or vigilance. Furthermore, dreaming of an angel can mean two things. Purity, protection, comfort and consolation. Pay careful attention to the message that the angels are trying to convey. These messages serve as a guide toward greater fulfillment and happiness. Alternatively, it signifies an unusual disturbance in your soul. Angels may appear in your dream as a result of your wicked and mean-hearted activities.

Crane-man is a kindly old man with a crippled and useless leg. Crane-man takes care of Tree-ear and loves him very much. Crane-man can only walk around with crutches, but he still had the upper body strength of a young man. Sadly, at the end of the story, Crane-man dies of a heart attack when he falls into the river next to the bridge and the freezing water kills him. Crane-man outlived all of his family and friends, and unable to work, he was forced to sell all of his possessions, and eventually he ran out of money and came to live under the bridge. A crane, besides standing on one leg, is also a symbol of long life, and this is how Crane-man got his name. Throughout the story, Crane-man displays his generosity and kindness towards Tree-ear, Min, Min’s wife, and other villagers. the link below provides a full synopsis of the book
Q: Hi guys, I am doing a project for school on blue cranes, and i can't find much on what their diet is like? Does anyone know?
Blue cranes are omnivorous and eat plant, grain and insect material. I may not listen to my science teacher, but at least I know this.
Q: How do they get the tower cranes (the ones used to build sky scrapers) so high? It's not like they can ship them all in one piece so how do they make them taller? I've always wondered that...
Really simple to put up BUT you must double check all your pins and triple check yourself as you go up with the tower crane I have helped put over 24 tower cranes. Only have experienced men do this and always check every step as you go up.
Q: Thanks to anyone who helps ^^
This Site Might Help You. RE: What's the japanese words for crane, flower, butterfly, cherry blossom, and sword? Thanks to anyone who helps ^^
Q: Romney woulda had that thing fixed by now.
It never ceases to amaze me. As Americans we scream and cry about the deficit and wonder why our president has not sent a work crew to fix a crane in NYC. These very same Americans suggest that our President is leaving the broken crane in New York to remind people of the atrocities done to the black Americans in our country. Really, nothing surprises me anymore.
Q: Is the crane a metaphor for the woman? Or does it transform into one? OR does the guy marry a bird? I've been listening to this all week and cannot discern which is right...maybe that was Colin's intention? A little help here?
It's a story about a peasant living in, I assume, rural Japan, it being a Japanese folk tale. He finds a wounded crane on the road as he's walking one night. It has an arrow in its wing, and he pulls out the arrow and revives the crane. A couple of days later this mysterious woman shows up at his door and he brings her in. Eventually, they fall in love and are married. Although they're poor-- she's a seamstress, a weaver-- she suggests that she can make this cloth that he could sell and make money. But the one condition is that when she's weaving he can't look into the room at her weaving. This goes on for awhile, until eventually the peasant's curiosity gets the best of him and he looks in. It turns out that the woman is a crane, and she's pulling feathers from her wings and putting them into the cloth, which is what makes it so beautiful and soft. Apparently, having looked in at her breaks the spell and she turns permanently back into a crane and flies away.
