That way the glue will also add an element of strength Take your tme, use a strong glue if you have that option - like Gorilla Glue, ,and build it in sections. Be sure to let the glue dry fully before moving on to the next stage. For the triangle portion, you can use thread to bind the pieces into a triangle shape until the glue dries and then remove the thread and use light sand paper to remove any residue. for the counterweight of the cantilever, fashion a small box out of pieces of sticks and fill it with a dense glue. As the glue hardens and compacts add more glue. When the glue has fully dried, remove the sticks unless you are still within your 150 count.
