Q:the title. the battery --- 9.6v 2000Mah INT NIMH Crane Stock Battery. will this fit in an echo 1 crane stock? the desc. said its designed for GG and SRC crane stocks, but may fit in other crane stocks.: crane stocks depend on the manufacturer.echo1 is the copy cat of Tokyo mauri but i have a echo1 m4 so yes it will fit.

Q:These cranes always stay higher than the construction process but I have never seen how they are extended to stay above all of it. They come in two formats, free standing and those attached to the building. The possibilities that I thought of was that maybe they use another crane to lift the housing and the horisontal arm to put in more modules into the vertical part; or that they extend it by some way by putting modules in at the top or bottom and that the crane has some self-lifting mechanism to accommodate the insertion of more modules. However, I have never seen this being done, nor does the construction of these cranes point to its ability to do so. The only other possibility that I could think of was that the crane is set up at the outset to be higher than the completed height of the building, hence there is no need to extend it but this does not explain how they do it for very high buildings where the crane is attached to the building and seems to grow higher with the building.: Ever heard of Superman?

Q:A crane operator was extended his Tadano crane boom(two section of boom out of five) at almost 0 degree boom angle. My question is-Is it safe to lift any load at 0 degree boom angle.: I suppose Tadano is the manufacturer and they make several models most of which are safe at zero degrees with two sections extended. The weight of the extended cable and hook need to be added to the weight being lifted or lowered, so the allowable weight could be zero for a very long cable. Some safety factor is present, so you may choose to push your luck. A cable that breaks suddenly can whip around in a dangerous manner. If you bend the boom replacement will be very costly. Q:I work in downtown Atlanta, and they are doing some kind of work on top of one of the high rise buildings downtown with a big crane. I was wondering how they got that heavy of a crane there to begin with? Thanks ahead of time!: The tower crane is build on sections of steel structures from ground level, they build much higher than needed, so the protuding section at the top that houses the crane do not need to be removed all the times, that probably explains the cost of building. They probably start to remove the protuding section when it reaches a height which is easy for machinery to access.
