- Q: Will Denny Crane lose his first case on an upcoming episode of Boston Legal?
- I love Denny Crane, he amuses me and will he lose? I dunno - how many times do you think he'll actually say Denny Crane
- Q: I have an odd fear of construction cranes. I literally get chills and almost dizzy anytime I see cranes. I get very nervous and almost want to cry. I know this is so odd but, I've seen phobias of things that are even more odd so I wonder...is there a phobia for my fear? Does anyone else share my fear?
- phobia fear construction cranes
- Q: I have these sand cranes that always come up to our house and we feed them bread they never were aggressive but now one certain one is getting more aggressive. We have a screened porch and they come up to it and there putting holes in it to get our attention and there making like a noise thats not that normal when they see us. The one certain one is getting more aggressive towards the other birds poking on the them and chasing them. There is a group of four and they always stay together. the other three arent as aggressive as the one. He is bigger then the rest of them and is almost like the boss you could mostly tell he was before. He always let the other eat first while he watched around and when we gave them bread he used to be the last one up there now hes the first one there and literally runs to us when he sees us.
- Sounds like the aggressive is the Dominate male of the herd. I know you like to feed them but that's what started the problem. He is being Dom so he can get more food and be the first to eat. Once they figure out you're not going to feed them they will go back to behaving normal. These are cool to look at, even though they can get loud sometimes. Have you ever seen tourist feed sea-gulls at the beach. Locals don't do it. Sea Gulls will get as aggresive as the Sand Cranes and actually dive bomb people. Imagine what a Sand Crane can do being what 10 times the size
- Q: Similarities in theme with Emily Dickinson and Stephen Crane?

- Q: I was just wondering this since I come from Northern Ireland and in Belfast I think they're probably the most prominent landmark but are they actually famous and if you saw them would you know where they were?
- Look them up on youtube you will see one crashing into another crane and knocking it over.
- Q: why was the japanese crane hunted for its plumage in the 20th century?

- Q: About tower crane torque limiter with 4 limit switches, each play a role, thank you
- Lifting weight limiter: limit maximum lifting weight;Torque limiter: limit the maximum lifting torque;Height limiter: limits the maximum and minimum position of the hook lifting and lowering;Amplitude limiter: limit the lifting trolley in the boom on the outside, the inside position;Slewing limiter: limit of up to the number of rotating ring arm;
- Q: explain thoroughly please
- Sure. Let's say that a crane needs to hoist a load of 10 tons, and that because it needs to reach over some obstacles, needs to lift at a horizontal distance of 50 feet away. That creates a torque about the base of the crane of 500 ton·ft. By positioning a counterweight on the opposite side of the tower, the magnitude of the moment can be mitigated. For instance, let's say a counterweight of 10 tons is positioned at 25 ft on the other side of the tower. The moment produced by the counterweight is 250 ton·ft, so the net moment at the base is 250 ton·ft. Furthermore, when the 10 ton load is positioned and release, there is still a 250 ton·ft moment at the base of the tower; it has simply switched direction (say from rotating the crane to the right, to rotating it to the left). If you find this helpful, please award Best Answer!
- Q: this is a little of a random question but why do you think that we should save the crested cranes of uganda? and what do you know about the crested cranes???
- Because man is a reasoning being he has the capability of saving things. It is in our nature. Secondly, if man's activities are the cause of the Crane's extinction - destroyed its habitat or food source, then man should help reverse this.
