 TC6015 FAQ

Q: What kind of steel used for tower crane?

A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.

Q: Does tower crane is similar to Potain or Liebherr type?

A: It could develop any type of tower crane as per clients’ requirements if the clear information is provided. Originally, our tower crane design is based on Liebherr; but now, we not only introduced Potain design; but also developed special tower crane according to the market needs such as TC5013A with panel mast section. In addition, we also produce some models same as Potain original model, such as F0/23B, H3/36B and etc.

Q: All types of jack up cranes. How is the maximum lifting torque converted?
Tower crane lifting torque = crane maximum lifting weight * maximum operating range; for example: the maximum lifting weight is 2T*, the maximum operating range of 50 meters =1000KN.m.
Q: How often should the crane be inspected regularly?
Crane safety supervision regulations twenty-fourth in lifting machinery safety regular supervision and inspection cycle for two years, elevator and manned elevator safety regular supervision, inspection cycle for a year.Eighteenth lifting machines should check the lifting machines regularly, including annual inspection, monthly inspection and daily inspection:I. at least one full inspection shall be carried out annually on the lifting machinery used. The load test can be carried out by lifting the heavy load which is equivalent to the lifting weight, and checking the safety performance of the mechanism such as lifting, running, turning and amplitude according to the rated speed.Lifting machines which have not been used for more than one year should be examined comprehensively before use.Crane in case of four or more earthquakes or major equipment accidents, outdoor work crane after more than nine winds, should be used before a comprehensive inspection.
Q: How the cranes can stand without any tipping with huge counter weights on its back? If there is no suspended load also the crane is is still stable with huge counter weights on its back. How it can possible? Why crane is not offballencing while we adding extra counter weights on it without any suspended load?
Usually the counterweights can move back and forth on an arm. They are moved toward the crane when there is no load and away from the crane when there is a load. If the counterweights can't move, then the crane must be designed to hold (at least) the minimum counterweights in their fixed location. As the crane gets loaded, the net moment decreases, and then increases in the other direction as more and more load gets added. It is still likely that the maximum design moment when loaded far exceeds the moment due to the counterweights on an unloaded crane.
Q: Is boom truck a crane truck? Are they the same or two different kind of truck?
A 'boom' is attached to a flat-bed truck and is used to unload a heavy delivery (usually building supplies and materials) to a specific location. A 'crane' is similar except that it doesn't unload things. It is attached to a truck and is used for moving heavy objects and materials from one place on another on the same property.
Q: Some of my friends are trying to see what is the most creative, yet still meaningful way to ask a girl to prom. I decided to use 1000 origami cranes, and for those who don't know, the meaning (in Japanese lore) behind 1000 cranes is that the maker gets to make one wish, and its also traditional to give them to someone to wish happiness and prosperity upon them.
i think of it sounds large! ik i could like it if my crush did that! yet 1000? thats a good type of paper yet be beneficial to recycle regardless of is left over, it could probley make ur gurl happy that ur assisting the planet :)
Q: I am in dyer need of a camera jib wih very little budget and/or tools to build one. I am wondering if i can use a cymbal stand for a crash cymbal as a camera jib? My idea is to modufy it by attatching a small piece of wood to the top screw where you would put a cymbal the screw in an L piece (metal) to it or attach it ti the arm of the stand and just snigly fit it so as the arm is raised and lowered the L pice compensates and stays strait. i would attach the camcorder to the L piece with a 1/4 inch screw and washers. i also need the arm to move smoothly will this work with a crash stand. all advice i am grateful for thanks

Q: this wind speed refers to that height of wind speed?
Surface wind speed is greater than 6
Q: I am making a crane(jib) whatever you call it and I have a concept for the crane itself but not for how I will actually move the camera. I heard wires work but I can not seem to grasp teh concept.* It is a heaver camera by the way*
On a real camera crane you would press the up and down button that moves the wrist part of it. ( I drove a forklift). If you are doing to yourself you'll have to rely on the elbow movements. I might think about renting a Genie lift. And letting someone be your hands in the thing. Unless you know how to build a fully articulating hydraulic ball-joint?
Q: Yeah, I think I know what cranes are used for. But in the context of building an apartment and so on, what is the role derricks there. And why is called cranes and derricks - What is the correlation between them.
Cranes are used for lifting heavy equipment. Derricks are used to drill for oil. They are two different things.
Q: Hi! I'm only going into 9th grade, but I'm getting a head start on chooising a college. I am absaloutley positive I want to be a musician. Hopefully a singer/songwriter, but my plan B is music production. So, I'm going to put Juliard aside (lol)and here are my choices right now:Crane School of Music,Fredonia School of Music, and Berklee School of Musicplease give me your opinion on those schools, and if you could suggest any others, please do. I need all the information I can get...Ive been doing alot of research but now I need other people's opinions. thanks :)
It really depends on what kind of music you want to study. If you are interested in classical music, Berklee is not your best option. But if you want to study contemporary music, it's basically your ONLY option. It's also the only school with both a Songwriting and a Music Production major. I personally love Berklee. You spend your time surrounded by so many talented people, students and teachers alike, who love and play very diverse styles of music. The experiences you get performing and the feedback you receive both in and out of class about your own music are so valuable. The focus of your education is completely about you- the kind of music you want to play, your work as a unique musician, preparing you whatever you want to do in the future. The environment is very supportive and inspiring. Classes are small and you get a lot of attention from very experienced musicians. I could write forever, so if you have any specific questions or just want to know more in general, please message me =)
