- Q: I am getting braces soon and I don‘t know whether to choose Ceramic or original metal braces. I am 14 and going into 9th grade. I heard that ceramic braces stain easily. I brush my teeth very well will that be a problem? I only have to wear them for a year. your input would be great
- I got ceramic braces because I was really old, like 21, I only got them because they look way nicer than the metal ones. But there were a couple things I wish I knew about them before I got them on. The treatment took longer and they are harder to remove. Like it really sucked getting them off, the metal ones just popped off super easy, the ceramic ones took a lot of pressure, I might be a wuss but it hurt! And mine didn't stain at all. As long as you brush your teeth they should be fine. But if I had the chance again I would have done metal, it probably wouldn't have taken so long.
- Q: why is ceramics useful?
- AftermarketParts not built be the Manufacture of the Car (In the car of cars) and therefore that makes Tires (Even the ones on the Car when you bought it) Aftermarket.
- Q: How to become a ceramic engineer ?
- Go to a university and major in materials engineering. Ceramic engineering is rarely offered as a separate major. There are only 2 ABET-accredited ceramics-only undergrad programs in the US. Alfred University in NY and the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Alfred is very well known in the ceramics industry. You can specialize in ceramics in grad school.
- Q: Ceramic pot for a long time, how to clean the dirt?
- Put the cleaning agent, and then use a soft brush to wash
- Q: How do we calculate the bulk shrinkage of ceramics?
- With the length before contraction minus the length of the contraction, and then divided by the length of the contraction before the line shrinkage, the general body contraction rate is three times the first contraction, you can get the body contraction rate! Personal views are for reference only!
- Q: Cement, ceramics, glass production, chemical differentiation of raw materials

- Q: I had this beautiful ceramic bear plate.I accidentally broke it.I would buy another one but the problem is that it is so rare to find.Is there any proffessional that could repair it to the way it is?
- No, the cracks will always show. The best that can be done is to make them fine if all the material is there.
- Q: i heard that ceramic take longer than metal, is that true? which one is better?
- They should both take the same length of time for treatment. If you are not careful with foods and have excessive breakage, the treatment can take longer. Ceramic braces may be slightly more fragile towards breakage, but if you are careful, they will both work the same way. It comes down to personal preference. If you like the look of clear or metal braces better. Be aware that some orthodontists will charge more for clear braces.
