- Q: How do you win something from those crane machines in stores?????
- PICK SUMTHIN THAT IS CLOSE TO THE HOLE AND TRY TO PICK IT UP WITH THE CRANE
- Q: What is a tower crane without a collector?
- Once again, because the collector is using carbon brush and copper ring contact, the tower crane work in the sway of the impact is too large, easy to cause carbon brush and copper ring arc between burning. Combined with this reason, today's tower cranes do not use collector. The drawback is that the tower crane can not be one-way one-way rotation. So now the use of rotary limiter, set the tower one-way rotation can only turn 540 degrees, want to turn, can only turn in the opposite direction.
- Q: its either Japanese, chinese, or okinawan, but which is it?
- Didn't you just ask this question a couple of days ago? When you do this, you set yourself up to be reported. When you say the stature, do you mean stance and posture? I'm taking that as a yes... Here is the answer - there is no single crane stance. All the postures and stances you practice in Crane arts are Crane stances and postures. I am a student of White Crane. There is a Crane style that originated in Tibet that is actually related to the White Ape. Then there is the White Crane school developed in the Yong Chun Village in Fukien Province, China. The Okinawans where taught concepts of White Crane, some of the forms and the most important part of White Crane which is Sam Chien training - aka Sanchin. This is the Internal training which develops Iron Body.
- Q: I have a question about cranes...does anyone know what the maiximim weight is that they can lift. A friend and I were discussing this and i was just wanting to know if anyone might have the answer. Thanks guys
- Do not know where you live but I worked in a Shipyard in South Mississippi That had Cranes which picked up Modules which weighed 100 tons. Most were in the range of 50 to 70 tons the limiting factor was the range of the lift away from the crane. The further away from the Crane the less the load limit but the Cranes were rail mounted so they could traverse and carry the load anywhere. We had one Crane capable of handling 500 tons, a real monster. These are all located at Pascagoula Mississippi. Most were imported from Germany.
- Q: Has anyone made 1000 origami cranes and made a wish? Just wondering
- Yes. Also, after the atomic bombs were dropped on Japan, a girl with radiation poisoning tried it, but died after making six hundred and odd cranes. Make of that what you will.
- Q: Any difference?
- The crane part can be identical, but the vehicle part differs: in the former case it's a road-going (even multi-axle) truck, in the latter case it's an off-road vehicle with oversize all-terrain tires and appropriate traction and transmission capabilities. In either case, the vehicle must be stabilized on adjustable hydraulic struts before hoisting.
- Q: What are the main technical parameters of a tower crane?
- Generally speaking, the main parameters of the tower crane are:Maximum amplitude unit MMaximum lifting height, unit MMaximum lifting torque unit KN.mMaximum lifting speed unit m/minMaximum lifting unit tRotational speed unit r/minVariable speed unit m/min or o/minWalking speed per unit m/minMotor power unit w......Please refer to the product manual.
- Q: are crane flies the most venomous insect in the world,or is this just an urban myth?
- This one is definitely a myth, one that has been applied to both crane flies and the arachnids known as daddy longlegs (more properly known as Opilionids, or harvestmen). A simple fact of their biology can put this to bed: the adults of many species of crane fly don't even have mouth parts--the adult form is used soley for reproduction, with no time for food acquisition. Essentially, they mate and die. Production of a highly toxic venom is extremely energetically costly, and when they have no ability to inject it into anything (not even for self defense), it makes no sense for a life strategy. Common sense and simple observation will also tell you that this isn't true. There are stories all the time telling of people who have died from killer bees, or snake bites, or black widows, but when's the last time you saw a news bit on a crane fly fatality? I mean, news outlets, not to mention Discovery Channel and Animal Planet, *live* on stuff like this--yet I've yet to see a special entitled Crane Flies: Nature's Perfect Assassin. ;)
- Q: If garden gnomes and oragami cranes were to battle with one would win?

- Q: crane signals?
- they are out there somewhere, and everywhere I have been they are the same
