- Q: i had it done 2/3 months ago, it was fine at first but now on each end i have two lumps on my ear:S there relitavely smal...the size of like a really tiny pea.there really painfull and sore and quite red and sometimes they scab over with yellowy crust [yes i know sounds disguisting]im just a bit worried that its gone all weird or are these normal? am i cleaning it right?
- I had the same situation occur when I got my scaffold/industrial done. I wouldn't be too concerned. The lumps are called hypertrophic scars, and supposedly they are pretty common and are caused by overcleaning, harsh products, or (as I think was my case) general irritation from the jewelry moving repeatedly back and forth through the piercing or being bumped around or rubbed/touched. Mine lasted quite a long time. Try leaving your piercing alone for a couple of days. Then salt water solutions or compresses are supposed to help the lumps to heal, and I also used tea tree oil and neosporine intermittently. Hot compresses like a heated washcloth applied to the area help to reduce the lumps, as well. Sometimes it's recommended to try another type of jewelry, like titanium, or switch temporarily to two separate bars. You might also try finding a really gentle cleanser/soap. I just kept my original piercing, using the above techniques off and on, and after months of the lumps remaining red and sore, they just went away totally. Just keep your eye out for any pussing (hypertrophic scars ooze, but they don't usually pus), increased swelling, and the area feeling very hot- these are signs of infectiona nd you should see your doc right away. Good luck! :)
- Q: Fastener type steel pipe scaffold accessories
- Foot plateThe foot board can be made of steel, wood, bamboo and other materials, each quality should not be greater than 30kg. Stamping steel foot board is commonly used as a foot board, usually with thick 2mm steel plate pressing, length 2-4m, width 250mm, the surface should be anti slip measures. Wooden feet can be used for the thickness of not less than 50mm of cedar wood or pine production, length 3~4m, width 200-250mm, both ends should be equipped with galvanized steel hoop two, in order to prevent the end of the wooden hand foot damage.
- Q: Fastener type steel pipe scaffold composed of two components? What are the roles?
- Classification of steel pipe scaffoldThe domestic steel pipe scaffold material production with steel tubular scaffolding, bowl button steel scaffolding, socket type steel pipe scaffolding, scaffolding doors, and every kind of the scaffolding, hanging scaffold steel pipe scaffolding and other materials. Proceed from its material and structure, and can be roughly divided as follows:
- Q: I really want to get one done and I would like it if someone could tell me how badly does it really hurt? During and after. I know everybody has different pain thresholds but on average? I'm just nervous to get it done but really want another piercing on my ears. I have my lobes and a cartilage on my right ear. How easy is it to clean? rate in numbers as well as a description. Thanks.
- well when i got mine it really didn't hurt tht muchh the second hole hurt the most but only because i was thinking about it. andd it hurts more afterwards especially during the first few dayss if you hit it by accidentt. and cleaning it honestly is a pain, its annoyinggg but you have to do it, during the first few weeks clean it 3 times daily then you can start going down to two times daily. and do sea salt soaks and stufff anddd the actual piercing for me was about a 4 or a 5 (10 being painfulest) and the healing has been about a 5 or a 6 but i just got it done last weeek, if you really want it then get it,the pain is only temporaryy buttt its deff worth it in the end :)
- Q: In the calculation of the bearing capacity of the scaffold, what is the axial force produced by the "N g2k" - the standard value of the component? The calculation formula for force rod scaffold N/ psi A+Mw/W = fWhere N=1.2 (Ng1k+Ng2k) +0.85*1.4 Sigma NqkThe specification of N g2k is explained in terms of the axial force generated by the standard values of the component fitting,It is how to understand, specifically refers to what? That is to say, what is the standard value of the component? Please master all trouble, thank you generous with your criticism!
- (3) the railings and retaining scaffold deadweight standard value (kN/m); the railings, bamboo amphipodsshouban baffle, the standard value of 0.15NG3 = 0.150 x 7 x 1.500/2 = 0.788 kN;(4) the load of the hanging safety facilities, including safety net (kN/m2); 0.005NG4 = 0.005 x 1.500 x 24 = 0.180 kN;
- Q: A 67.0- painter is on a uniform 21- scaffold supported from above by ropes. There is a 3.8- pail of paint to one side. The ropes are 1m inside the scaffold on each side. The pail is 1m away from the left rope and 3m from the right rope. The scaffold is a 6m. How close to the right end can he approach safely? How close to the left end can he approach safely?
- First of all...no units, no answer. Second of all...according to OSHA (Occupation Safety and Health Administration), NO ONE can walk on a scaffold beam outside the support ropes OR SET ANY OBJECT DOWN outside the support ropes. Hence the answers for both questions are 1 meter. It doesn't matter what a calculation will yield...NO ONE can walk on the beam outside the support ropes safely. Even if a torque balance yields that it will not put the ropes in compression and buckle them...it still isn't considered to be safe by OSHA if the painter is outside the ropes.
- Q: He pushes a can over the scaffold at 15 meters and it takes 3.25 seconds for it to land.I keep doing the problem over and over. the Correct answer is 20.5 m/s, however I keep arriving to the solution of 17 m/s. I solved it by doing Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2adwhere the initial velocity is zero and the acceleration is -g. I made my coordinate system so that down is negative in which the distance will be negative. This however, did not give me the correct answer. Am I right or is the book right?
- The initial velocity is not zero since the scaffold is moving upward when the can gets pushed over. And final velocity, vf, does not represent the speed of the scaffold (if that is what you're trying to solve). y = (vo)(t) - (1/2)gt? 15 m = (vo)(3.25 s) - (1/2)(9.81 m/s?)(3.25 s)? vo = +20.5 m/s
- Q: Bowl buckle type steel pipe scaffolding should set up a few people
- Structural partsThe bowl buckle steel tube scaffold is composed of steel pipe pole, cross bar, bowl buckle joint and so on. The basic structure and erection requirements and fastener type steel pipe scaffolding similar, the main difference lies in the bowl buckle joint.
- Q: Im a wimp for pain and im looking to get my scaffolding done. i want to know how painful it isI already have both lobs pierced and stretched to an 8mm, will the pain be similar to that?
- You sound like you have a low tolerance for pain if you say you're a wimp haha, which means yeah it'll probably hurt you. It'll hurt more than the lobes because it's cartilage, and for the same reason you'll hear a popping noise as the hole is made. You won't be taken over by deathly pain or anything like that, it'll probably be sensitive for a few days after too so careful not to knock it against anyone/ anything. But if you want it bad enough, the pain will be bearable.
- Q: i got my scaffold done quite a while ago and it still really hurts and is all lush and crusty, loli know it takes agessss to heal but could i take it out and put normall small earrings in each whole instead? Which would i have to use? thanks
- in my opinion you should ride it out and just clean it more often. not only will the piercings give you trouble if you try to change the earring now, the piercings themselves will move slightly and you won't be able to put an industrial bar back through it. if you can live with these go through with it, if not, wash often, rotate the bar constantly and avoid sleeping on it and getting your hair caught up in it. like you said, piercings in the cartilage are very sensitive and need time and nurturing so that they can heal properly.
