Q: i just got it like 3 days ago and its no signs of infection and im just worried it might get that way. ive been reading online about people who got infections and people who had all this crap happen. what do i need to do to stop one from coming i mean i use contact solution and cotton swabs wipe it down with wet ones and clean it when i sweat and turn it twice a day.. im always careful about keeping it clean im a neat clean freak but is there anything else i can do to stop infection from coming: go to safepiercing.org for proper aftercare and what to avoid. if you use store bought saline, make sure it is additive free, but, the sea salt soaks on the above site works much better. also, stop turning it. it disrupts the newly forming skin which prolongs healing and makes you more prone to infection. turning the earring is something that comes from the old way of ear piercing (with a gun). it does not apply to any other piercings, and, we know now that it's not good for any piercing. the 'gun piercers' aren't real piercers and don't know anything about it also, it takes up to a year to heal

Q: I plan on playing tennis and doing track and field at school... Im getting the piercing this month and it won't be healed in time to take it out. How can I conceal it or possibly even help it heal faster??: Well an industrial piercing isn't exactly going to get in your way, just put your hair up in a pony tail so your hair doesn't get snagged on it. I wouldn't suggest trying to cover it with anything though, you'll be putting the piercing at risk of infection from trapping bacteria, especially if you're going to end up sweating.

And before you say it I am aware that there are risks as there are risks with any piercing. so I'm 17 from London and wondering:How old do you have to be to get it done?Does anyone know a reputable place i can get it done?How much will it be?any experiences to share?: I haven't had this piercing but i was thinking of getting one i do have an eyebrow ring and seven earrings in each ear and i use to have a tongue ring, your piercing cartilidge so it is going to sting shouldnt be too bad though for me my most painful piercing was my fourth earring hurt after that it wasnt too bad my seventh was a breeze i knew how to take care of it so that it would heal fast and not get infected. you have to daily sometimes twice a day clean it otherwise it gets infected and its been my exerpience that they get infected easy. the healing time for when you pierce cartilidge is twice that of when you pierce your lobe so about 8-12 weeks give or take as far as i know you have to be 18 to get one if your in the US (or 17 with parental consent) not sure what the age would be over in London as for reputable place most tatto parlors do piercings look for a clean place that sterlizes everything very important (again going on US standards) as for the cost not sure was 10 dollars for ear piercing at wal mart but for this kind of ear piercing i would guess 20-30 dollars cause its at leadt 50 for a eyebrow or tongue ring i know that. i hope this helps good luck

I solved it by doing Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2adwhere the initial velocity is zero and the acceleration is -g. I made my coordinate system so that down is negative in which the distance will be negative. This however, did not give me the correct answer. Am I right or is the book right?: The initial velocity is not zero since the scaffold is moving upward when the can gets pushed over. And final velocity, vf, does not represent the speed of the scaffold (if that is what you're trying to solve). y = (vo)(t) - (1/2)gt? 15 m = (vo)(3.25 s) - (1/2)(9.81 m/s?)(3.25 s)? vo = +20.5 m/s

Q: What could you do with 100,000 jumbo cotton balls, 50 gallons of honey, and three story scaffolding?: ummmm oh i got a good one i hope and that is to build the world's largest bee's hive. plus they make more honey and i would have tons of money, pretty sweet isn't it.
