Q: Anybody have any experience with external battery packs?I have the iPhone 4s and the battery life blows, despite shutting off everything unnecessary (including Siri) So, since I can't really do anything about that 'til Apple decides to fix the issue or my wireless contract expires (whichever comes first), I'm looking into options for an external battery pack. I am going on a trip that will require heavier use of my phone, so I'll need to recharge it without access to a wall charger.I'm looking at Powergen and Anker so far, but as far as I can tell, they're the exact same thing with different brand stickers.I'm not looking to spend MASSIVE amounts of money, so something less than $40 would be preferred. What have you used? Is it good/bad/other?
Scosche external battery.
Q: Hi, I picked up a used laptop but it didn't come with a battery pack, so I'm wondering if I buy a charger for it, if it would turn on or would I need the battery inside there? It's a older model of the Gateway laptops.
Yes, they should turn on with just the charger.
Q: I bought a shaver that came with two rechargeable battery packs (2 x AA 900mAh 1.2V)Both packs powered the shaver fully for awhile until the energy was drained. However, the adapter (AC: 200V~50Hz DC: 3V 500mA) it came with does not charge either battery pack. When I plug the adapter to the battery pack, the red light comes on, so I know contact is being made, but no matter how long I leave it there, either battery pack does not charge.I'm not electrically skilled, so I was hoping someone on here could help me out.
Check if you have followed properly the battery polarity connection to its terminal. The contact must be positive to positive and negative to negative. If it was not followed the charger's red light will still comes on,but the battery pack will not charge because there is a reverse polarity circuit protection inside the charger. This is to protect the battery in case it was inserted in reverse position (polarity). The power supply current will not charge the battery or goes to battery. It will be blocked by the diode protection that is connected in series, This diode allows current passing in one direction only (polarized forward) and does not in the opposite (reverse polarization).
Q: I have 2 normail battery chargers and I was wonder if you can charge the wireless controller battery packs with these normal battery chargers.
no it doesnt however the halo 3 xbox 360 it relatively is the comparable as a results of fact the professional console apart from the falcon chip which comes put in interior the halo 3 xbox 360 comes with the play and fee kit
Q: I have an Xbox One controller. And I was wondering which batteries would work better and hold more energy? The Xbox One battery pack, or Energizer Rechargeable Lithium Batteries?
Battery pack because the rechargeable batteries tend to get stuck
Q: do they have there own battery pack or do they take like AA or AAA or whatever
It would be AA Batteries, But if you wanted to save your money, buy a special battery pack that you can use with out actual batteries. It fits on to the back of your controller and when your not playing, you can charge it with a wire that connects to the top of your controller and into the usb port in front of your xbox. but just make sure that the battery pack is still in the controller.
Q: I would like to buy a batter pack for my Nikon D50 which also has the vertical grip and shutter release. Does anyone know of anyone who makes one? If so, have you tried it, and do you like it? Also, where could I find them, and how expensive are they?
Instead of buying a battery pack for D50, go for a spare battery if you want longer battery life. If you are looking for better fps and other advantages, then first think of upgrading your camera body.
Q: i have an old laptop with only 1 battery pack in the back. How do i make it work?
My laptop works without a battery pack. I just plug mine into the wall outlet with the battery charger.
Q: I will have the battery hooked to the receiver through an ESC, but will it still be too much voltage for the receiver to handle? The receiver is a Spektrum AR-500.
Yes. If you have any worries, you could use an Adjustable-Voltage Regulator, LM317, and bias it up to get exactly 9.8 volts when powered. But it really isn't necessary, for the same reason that a 12V car radio will work when the regulator is putting out over 14, or the battery has as little as 10.5.
Q: I don't like to use the rechargable batteries for my digital camera because I don't have the time to constantly recharge. I'm leaving for Europe tomorrow and want to know if there are any standards for packing batteries in the checked luggage because I would think that they maybe aren't allowed in the carry-on -- don't know though.
Well, if you are coming from the USA, then the best I can suggest is to either declare your possession of the batteries at security checkpoint or to a TSA officer. I'm not sure if they will take them away, but you can call the TSA or the airline of course, and they will tell you.
