- Q: Borrowed a controller from my brother and the plug and play cable, but didn't grab a battery pack. Trying to use it on my Xbox 360, but I need to sync it first. Unfortunately, the plug and play cable covers up the sync button, making it nigh-impossible for me to sync it. Is there any way I can sync it?

- Just press the Xbox button on the controller for a couple of seconds. An on screen menu would pop up asking to turn off the controller, the console or cancel (neither). Press the obvious option.

I have a toy Lamborghini Gallardo car, and it has a 7.2V Rechargable Ni-Cd battery pack. what i want to do it add an extra AA battery do hopefully give it more power. what i need to know is, what connects the all the batteries with the wire that you plug in to the other wire that connects to the car and the battery charger? whats on the batteries that conducts the electric charge to all 6 AA batteries?
- NiCd or Nickel Cadmium batteries are rechargeable but doing it using your battery pack is not viable since a single recharge takes about 12 hours to complete. A better option is to buy an NiCd battery charger from your local store, which can charge upto 6 batteries within 2 hours. Make sure you completely drain out thebatteries before you recharge them because if you don't the residual electrodes get converted into a stone like substance which becomes unusable, thereby shortening your battery life and battery charge.
- Q: I have an Olympus Camera with a Model LI-42B Battery Pack.I haven't used my camera in a while so I charged the battery then pulled it out of the charger and put it on my desk. - Lithium ion batteries have been known to explode and to catch fire. It is one of the technology hurdles that has kept Toyota from upgrading the Prius to a plug-in hybrid with Li batteries. There have been cell phone and laptop battery explosions and explosions of larger batteries in military use that have caused catastrophic fires. These events usually occur while charging. I wouldn't keep the battery inside your house. I would call the camera manufacturer and complain about the defect. They will probably replace it because they will likely want your battery to identify the defect. In any case, if you are patient and search the internet every few months for the issue, eventually they will probably issue a recall as pressure from others builds. I had a similar issue with a Canon camera. By the time Canon caved in and agreed to fix everyone's cameras, similar models had shrunk to half the size and one third the cost. Oh, well. Still works fine.
- Q: for my labtop and xbox controllers the battery packs are not working. the work but even if u touch the bettery pack or anywere around it the device shuts off any help plz?
- I do not really have an answer but i have experienced the same problem with my xbox controllers. If the controller is shaken at all, or touched in a certain spot, then it will say xbox controller disconnectedd so you have to push the battery pack back and continue on. The only thing ive done to try and fix the problem is using tape to tightly secure the battery pack against the controller, and for the most part, it works, but it can get annoying.

- Q: I am building a small toy boat from basically nothing and was wondering if the 9.6 volt battery pack would damage the 3 volt DC motor used to propel it. The motor doesn't seem to get hot or sound bad when it's running. Will it hurt the motor at all, even if not running for very long periods of time? Thanks in advance to everyone helping!
- It might hurt it. The rpm is running 3 times the normal rpm. It would be best to measure the amps used with a voltage meter running on 3 volts. Then use a resistor of the correct size to make the amps with a 9. volt battery pack. If you dont know what ohm search for ohms calculator put in 9.6 volt and the amps you measured from the 3 volt. It will calculate the ohms for you. You can find resistors are radio shack get a larger one rated formore than twice the wattage used (wattsamps x volts)
