- Q: I was planning on buying a cell phone from t-mobile, the motorola cliq xt. i was gonna buy the phone with a 2 year contract since it's cheaper, but i noticed the cheapest plan is $39.99. I also noticed that once i click the plan, it brings me to a services page where it says required services are android and T-Mobile Android Unlimited Web. do i REALLY need the unlimited web plan or can i just buy the phone/39.99 plan? the unlimited web plan is $30 alone so it would cost 69.99/month. this is my first phone with an actual plan(currently mine is pre-paid), so i don't know much about them. thanks for any input!
- i recommend staying with prepaid. with that said, yes, most of there phones require an unlimited data plan for 30 dollars. and it's not just t-mobile that requires it, verizon is the same way. i say it's just another way for phone companies to get more money. i have straight talk and i love it. it's prepaid and it runs on the verizon network so it has great service. for 30 dollars a month you get 1,000 minutes, 1,000 text/picture messages and 30 MB of data or for 45 dollars a month you get unlimited everything. there's no roaming fees. unlimited calls to 411 at no extra charge, where on other providers it could cost any where from 1.29 to 1.99 for a 411 call. but that's up to you. i have had service with verizon postpaid, t-mobile, tracfone, net10, straight talk, verizon prepaid, t-mobile prepaid, u.s. cellular postpaid and i have to say prepaid wins. contracts really suck. yes the phones are nicer, but unless you pay full retail for the phone and not sign a contract, i don't recommend going with a postpaid account. good luck deciding.
- Q: Basically I've had my current mobile for a good few years now and I've been saving up for a new one. I'm not too bothered about networks but I think I'm looking for a contract phone. There's obviously the choice between a blackberry and an iphone, but I have no idea what's a good deal and what's not? And also any other types of android mobiles which are really good? I prefer qwerty keyboards but if anyone can suggest a good touchscreen one that would be good too. I'd like to have internet access and app downloads, but I don't want to be spending something crazy like ?35 per month aha. Please help I'm completely lost with all these deals and mobile phones :)
- Droid 2. qwerty keyboard, touchscreen, internet and Apps.
- Q: I REALLY want to buy a sidekick for a new cell phone. I have verizon because T-Mobile isn't in my area. Can you have a T-Mobile phone if you have Verizon????
- Nope. Verizon phones have an internal chip that lets it work on Verizons network.
- Q: how can we send and get mms through mobile phones
- First, you must activate your GPRS or MMS service. Then, you may create a Multimedia Message throught your cellphone. You can find it in the menu message option in your phone. You may write text, add images, sounds or video. Lastly, just press to send it to someone.
- Q: I have MSN messenger 4.1.9 on my mobile phone (already installed with phone) I just started using. My question is thishow do I appear offline to my contacts (or only a select few) ????
- it depends on the phone you are using . But some of the messenger software on phones don't have appear offline option. If you can be more specific about the model / make of your phone i bet more people can help you.
- Q: i have a virgin mobile phone and i was on the website and i saw that they have better phones in other countries and i mean way better phones. i was wondering if i can use one of those in usa.
- actually everyone in simple terms needs to settle down. the provider is down, ok, they're engaged on it. You all ought to easily be at liberty that your getting infinite documents/texting/digital mail for below 35 money a month, the international gained't end in simple terms because the texting provider has lengthy gone down for what ever reason. So dont bash the employer it really is providing you with this tremendous cost, i have had Virgin for 2 years now and that is in effortless words the second one time that any provider has lengthy gone down, so human beings in simple terms relax and digital mail human beings in case you actually cant stay without texting
- Q: I want a mobile phone like Samsung Corby or Blackberry or Nokia Xpressmusic Touchscreen that has WiFi Dont give me iPod Touch. I want it from Samsung or Blackberry or Nokia. Plz SAMSUNG OR BLACKBERRY OR NOKIA MOBILES THAT HAVE WIFI I need it.DONT ASK ME TO BUY ANOTHER MOBILES AND IT SHOULD BE CHEAP.

- Q: How could I get Picture off of my Virgin Mobile phone without them going through my virgin mobile account and costing me money?????
- Unfortunately, Virgin Mobile practically forces you to make them go to a picture message because the ability to use data cables on Virgin Mobile phones have been disabled. However, if you have a Shuttle or a Slider Sonic, photos can be transferred onto a MicroSD card from your phone and then into your computer (this makes picture messaging not required to get your pictures onto your computer) If you don't have a Slider Sonic or a Shuttle, then you MUST send your photos in a picture message to get them onto a computer. Bluetooth will not work either :-( Hope this helps :-)
- Q: i have a t-mobile phone with an att sim card, it says i need a subsidy code, anybody work for t-moble or att that knows
- Hi Lawson The T-mobile phone is sim locked, what that means is that the phone will only work with a T-Mobile sim. Depending on the model and make of the phone, there are different ways you can go about unlocking the phone to work with the att sim. You can get the subsity code for free from T-Mobile if you have an current account with them and have been with them at least 90 days. If you do, phone them, request the code, reason is that you will be travelling out of country and want to use that contrys sim. If you do not have a t-mobile account, find a freind that does and have them call. Without you listing the make and model, I can not tell you other ways you might go about getting it unlocked
- Q: I want to create a new Yahoo account. After I complete the page with all of my basic info (name, birthday, etc.), it takes me to a page where I can create my security questions and include a mobile phone number. I do not have a mobile phone. When I hit done, a message stating this information is required appears next to the mobile phone box, and I cannot complete registration without it. I have tried linking to an alternate email in the previous step but it still happens. What can I do?
- Hi Ivory - Inclusion of a mobile phone number is now a required field when registering for a new Yahoo! ID. ?In the event account recovery is needed, this is the safest and most effective method to securely recover your account. ?Yahoo! will alert you through your mobile device when we suspect unusual login activity on your Yahoo! account. If you do not have a mobile number, or cannot provide one, you will be unable to complete registration for a new Yahoo! ID. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
