Q: Hi, i just wanted to know about the typical gross profit margins to the retailer in the sale of mobile phones and if it varies by a lot by which brand a retailer sells. Thanks.
relies upon on the guy. the place I stay (Adelaide), i do no longer see a extensive difference between adult males and ladies whilst it comprises cellular utilization. a excellent form of the infants I see in college seem to have their telephones in college on facebook, toddler, and text fabric one yet another from diverse school rooms (incredibly pathetic, for my area). I, a woman, hardly use my telephone, different than whilst i'm on college journeys, wherein case I save my telephone in my pocket, and whilst on the prepare or bus I take a seat on my lap in case my mom texts or calls.
Q: I have a (cheap) Nokia Tmobile phone. I lost the Simcard it came with. I have the battery, charger and no phone plan. Is it possible to use as a pay as you go? Would I have to purchase a simcard from T-mobile? Can I do this without having my credit pulled?
Yes,you would simply visit the T-Mobile store and take them your phone. Tell them you want to activate it with pre pay, and they will set up service and get you a new sim with a new number.
Q: I got a windows mobile cell phone, on which I hope to create programs (language does not matter, C, Java, Python, Basic, Perleither welcome).Don't you know the compiler which can be installed on Windows Mobile ?Also, I don't know well about Excel Mobile. It seems VBA is not available. Is there any method to VBA programming on Excel Mobile ?
I don't think we have a mobile based compiler in the market as yet. Mobile devices are short on RAM and processor power, not to mention they constantly have to perform the job of a phone. So, the devices are not used to do programing, as programing itself is a tedious job for a processor (running IDE, debuggers, compilers, linkers etc.). So, for the time being, I think you would have to be content on using mobile phones as phones and not for programing. Though you can Microsoft Visual Studio for mobile device programing. Have fun
Q: If you have a t-mobile phone you know that your phone sometimes says other services than t-mobile under the service indicator. Because when your t-mobile service is down the netowrk works off of the other towers. Anyway, my t-mobile service is always two bars or less in my home area. I use to be able to work off of cellularone and att but now it says SOS. How do I make it not say SOS so I can work off of the stronger tower in my area? If I won't be able to make it stop, how can I boost my t-mobile service? Don't say get another phone cause I can't. I'm under two year contract. Thanks.
Well unfortunately you cant make the SOS go away thats just an indicator that you dont have service. There is something you can buy called a service booster, sold at Best Buy, T - Mobile, or any online store (Amazon, OKorder, and so on) these boosters may increase your service but you cant just feed off of another network by option. The reason your phone would say Cellular One or Att is just by chance not because you could control it. Apparently those cell providers have blocked their service from t-mobile users. Hope this helps!
Q: I mean children as small as 4th grade have personal mobiles for friends. Isn't it tooo much?
Obviously it's not NECESSARY; kids survived just fine before cell phones existed. However, I would think that a very simple phone with very limited capabilities would be a good thing for even a small child to have. A phone that would allow them to call mom/dad/911 would be a good thing; I'd CERTAINLY disable texting, picture messaging, and anything that would allow them to download things that cost money at that age.
Q: i am wanting a phone from boost mobile but want a straight talk plan?? can I do this
No, that will not work, and for several reasons: 1.) Straight Talk will not accept a Boost Mobile phone, period. 2.) Boost Mobile phones are not compatible with Straight Talk's GSM SIM cards. 3.) Boost Mobile phones with SIM card slots are either iDEN (which will not work with a GSM SIM card), or are locked from being used outside of Boost Mobile.
Q: I have just received an upgrade from T-Mobile. Whilst I like the phone I want to unlock it so I can put a cheaper SIM in for my trips to Jersey. Only one network on Jersey (UK).The phone is a Samsung U800 which seems to prove hard to unlock??An internet service could not help and Tmobile says it takes 28 days.Does anyone know of a high street shop that could unlock and not charge that much?Cheers
Dont go to the High streets, you are better off going to the small independant shops. they have the software to get it sorted for you and the longest they will take is 24 hours at a cost of 5 - 10 quid
Q: I want to used my mobile phone as a modem what program/hardware can be use?because my phone is built in wifi.Spec:Gt-S3653W Java capable.
It's called Tethering, check with your Provider and see if they allow tethering. Most do but a few Companies want to charge a little extra to allow tethering
Q: Hey, I'm having a problem with my new cell phone. I just got it a few days ago, it's a Virgin Mobile TNT model, also known as Kyocera Adreno S2400. The screen has gone black. The battery is fully charged, and the phone actually seems to still be on, since it's making sounds upon opening and closing. Hitting/holding the end button to turn it on or off produces no response. So basically right now, rather than having a cell phone I have a little box that makes noises when I open and close it. I've tried the Virgin Mobile website, but they don't really have a troubleshooting section. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and how I could fix it?
I also have the TNT, and actually had the exact same thing happen a couple weeks ago. I decided to hold the power button in for a few seconds so it would shut off (yes, I know it's hard to tell because the screen is black). I waited a few minutes and turned it back on and it was fine. If this doesn't work, try removing the battery and putting it back in. Also, I know through the Virgin Mobile website and most stores you buy the phones at, have a 30 day guarantee, so if all else fails, return the phone.
Q: Does the smartphone have a phone card to the Internet?
If you do not have a router at home, you can build a wireless network through the computer.
