Q: Does anyone know how to reverse the air from a vacuum cleaner? In other words, instead of it sucking the air in, how do you get it to blow out?: It will only do that if you have an outtake valve on your vaccuum. You then put the hose onto that valve and it blows out. The older models did have them but I don't know if any of the newer ones do.

Q: Can a canister vacuum cleaner hepa filter be washed?: I have been servicing and repairing vacuum cleaners for about 10 years now so I see a lot of filters. In my opinion even the filters that can be washed really shouldn't be unless they are a foam type material. Basically the washing doesn't really get the dirt out, what you have to consider is that the pores of the filter are super small to be able to trap particles as small as pollen and smoke and water doesn't flow well through holes this small. Also as the vacuum is running it is actually trying to pull air through the filter so the dust gets pulled in really hard and effectively gets stuck. Your vacuum will last longer by replacing the filter as it will cool the motor more effectively so while there is a cost in buying a new filter it extends the life of your vacuum hence saving you money in the long term. Q: Here is the thing I know ALL dry vacuums (bag or filtered) loose air flow and never loose suction. What I noticed with dyson is, the quot;never loose suctionis more a copy right than technology patent. Why any vacuum company cannot claim no lose off air flow? Which what does the cleaning, not suction. the little shark vacuum (shaped like a football) never looses suction too. So can you show me a vacuum that looses suction?: You're right. Vacuum cleaners don't lose suction due to general usage and failure to clean filters. The only way it could happen is if the cleaner in question has a malfunction which causes the fans to turn at a reduced velocity, if a seal has developed a leak, broken fan blades etc. So to answer your question... No I can't.

One company, Aerus LLC (formerly Electrolux Corporation), mentioned that the only differences between its commercial and household vacuum cleaners is that the former have less warranty protection, have longer cords, and do not feature above the floor attachments or headlights. Nothing was said about construction materials being different.: They both do the same job. Just different names for the same equipment.
