PPGI:
1, Introduction: Color coated steel coils(sheets), i. e. PPGI, also called prepainted steel coils(sheets), are made of galvanized steel coils(sheets) with polymer coatings as surface. It's a new enclosure material and building board with characteristics of light-weighted, heat preserved&insulated, easily installed with bright colors.
2, Production Process: Pretreatment(Degreasing)_Drying_Chromating_Paint Basic Oil_Cooling_Drying_Color Coating_Cooling_Film-covering_Rolling Up
3, Characteristics:
Good at corrosion resistence. Besides zinc coating of the basic plate of galvanized steel sheet, the color coating as the surface has double lifetime to ensure better anticorrosion effect.
with excellent cold bending molded manufacturablity, PPGI products can be processed or directly used as final product. As being light-weighted and conveniently transported, they're widly used to replace wood to save energy.
There're thousands of colors can be chosen as per different application. Any color plays well in decoration.
No pollution with high recycling rate, PPGI coils and sheets are strongly recommended as enviroment-friendly products by the government.
4, Appliance: Thanks to the above characteristics, color coated steel coils and sheets are widly used in construction, furniture industry, transportation industry, ect.
5, eye bands and 4 circumferential bands in steel, galvanized metal fluted rings on inner and outer edges, galvanized.

FAQ
1. Is the sample available?
Yes, samples can be sent for test if you need.
- Q: Many gerber knives are made out of what gerber calls high Carbon steels and I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what is this mysterious steel.
- The carbon content of the knife is done during the smelting process. For instance a knife that has a high carbon content will keep an edge much longer than one with a lower content. It is tricky because too much will cause the knife to be brittle and break easily. Annealing is also part of the process of knife making.
- Q: Hi I was thinking about buying this knife, but i wasn't sure if it was good because it's stainless steel.
- This isn't really a question for this section, but I'm still happy to help out since I'm a big cutlery nerd as well. One thing to look out for when buying a knife is a lack of specifics on what steel is being used. High Carbon Stainless Steel doesn't tell you what the steel is, just what it MIGHT be. Chances are it's something along the lines of 420HC or 440A, both of which are softer steels. They aren't the worst steels around, but they are very quick to dull. You'd be better off looking at the Balisongs of Benchmade. They'll cost more, but you'll know that you're getting something made with quality materials and that won't break on you. And if it does break for some odd reason, Benchmade's warranty and customer service are both fantastic. Although if a more questionable knife is okay with you as long as the price isn't too high, then at least 420HC and 440A aren't too brittle and will take a decent edge even though they'll dull quickly. As for whether stainless steel is good for a knife or not, that depends on the type of stainless steel and what you're going to use the knife for. Many stainless steels are more brittle than a carbon steel, so high carbon stainless steels are a bit more likely to rust but a little tougher as well. In a butterfly knife, a steel like that is a good way to go, although the steels used by Benchmade, as I mentioned, are of a much better quality.
- Q: did bible stated that steel is coming from outer space. i mean meteor rocks that enter our earth sistem contains the minerals iron.
- Steel is not elemental, if that's what you mean. It's a metal alloy, a combination of mostly iron and some carbon. Iron and carbon both occur naturally on the Earth, but you have to melt them together to make steel.
- Q: What are the different types of steel coil coatings for corrosion resistance?
- There are several different types of steel coil coatings that are specifically designed to provide corrosion resistance. These coatings can be categorized into two main types: organic coatings and metallic coatings. 1. Organic Coatings: - Polyester: Polyester coatings are commonly used for steel coil applications due to their excellent corrosion resistance and durability. They offer good weatherability and resistance to chemicals, making them suitable for outdoor applications. - Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF): PVDF coatings are highly resistant to UV radiation, weathering, and chemicals. They provide exceptional durability and are often used in demanding environments such as coastal areas or industrial settings. - Polyurethane: Polyurethane coatings offer excellent abrasion resistance and provide a high level of corrosion protection. They are commonly used in applications where there is a higher risk of mechanical damage or exposure to harsh conditions. - Epoxy: Epoxy coatings provide excellent adhesion and chemical resistance. They are often used in industrial applications where resistance to chemicals, solvents, and oils is required. 2. Metallic Coatings: - Galvanized Coatings: Galvanized coatings involve applying a layer of zinc to the steel surface through a hot-dip or electroplating process. This creates a barrier between the steel and the surrounding environment, providing effective corrosion protection. Galvanized coatings are widely used in various industries due to their cost-effectiveness and good durability. - Galvannealed Coatings: Galvannealed coatings are similar to galvanized coatings but undergo an additional heat treatment process. This results in a coating with increased hardness and improved paint adhesion, making it suitable for applications that require additional surface protection or paintability. It is important to consider the specific requirements of the application and the level of corrosion resistance needed when selecting the appropriate steel coil coating. Consulting with coating manufacturers or industry experts can help determine the most suitable coating for a particular application.
- Q: What are the common standards and specifications for steel coils?
- The common standards and specifications for steel coils include ASTM A36/A36M, ASTM A572/A572M, ASTM A1011/A1011M, and ASTM A653/A653M. These standards outline the requirements for the chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, and other characteristics of steel coils used in various industries, such as construction, automotive, and manufacturing. Additionally, international standards like EN 10025 and JIS G3101 are also commonly followed in different regions.
- Q: steel structure
- Disadvantages Of Steel
- Q: What are the different methods of stretch leveling steel coils?
- There are several methods of stretch leveling steel coils, including roller leveling, tension leveling, and temper rolling.
- Q: I wanted to get a cheapo ring and I found one I like, but it's stainless steel. Is that bad? Will it get dull and tarnished fast?
- Stainless steel will never tarnish so you don't have to worry about it. It's a better choice than silver, for silver, you'll have to clean it with either a cleaner product or toothpaste. Oh yeah, and stainless steel has that cool and modern look.
- Q: How are steel coils inspected for dimensional accuracy during processing?
- Steel coils are inspected for dimensional accuracy during processing through various methods such as measuring tape, calipers, laser scanners, or automated vision systems. These tools are used to measure the length, width, and thickness of the coils to ensure they meet the required specifications and tolerances.
- Q: How are steel coils used in the production of electrical transformers?
- Steel coils are used in the production of electrical transformers as they provide the core structure for the transformer. The steel coils are wound with insulated copper wire to create the primary and secondary windings of the transformer, which allow for the transformation of electrical energy from one voltage level to another. The steel coil helps to conduct and distribute magnetic flux within the transformer, ensuring efficient energy transfer and reducing losses.
