5.FAQ

 1. What’s the application of this product?

Roof, roof structure, surface sheet of balcony, frame of window, etc.

Q: How are steel coils used in the manufacturing of tools and equipment?
Steel coils are used in the manufacturing of tools and equipment as they are typically shaped and cut into various components such as blades, springs, and handles. These coils provide the necessary strength and durability required for the tools and equipment to withstand heavy usage and perform effectively.
Q: How are steel coils used in the manufacturing of storage tanks?
Steel coils are used in the manufacturing of storage tanks as they provide the necessary strength and durability required for storing various substances. These coils are formed into cylindrical shapes and welded together to create the tank's body. The steel coils are also coated with protective layers to prevent corrosion and ensure the longevity of the tank.
Q: 911 conspiacy theorists. Can fire melt steel?
They can't melt that fast At that temperature, the fire caused by the jet's fuel didn't hot enough to melt the concrete steel. As you see in the video the flame took only 20 minutes. The heat is not fast enough to penetrate all fragment of the concrete steel from top to the foundation, steel is not a good heat conductor like the iron. The explosion only took 5 stories, even all flame in all stories will take 4 hours to melt the core - in this case the core is the worst quality alloy which I don't think is used by WTC. The speed of the falling of WTC building was way too fast. It only took about 9.5 seconds. As an illustration, we throw an object - no matter the weight from the top of WTC, let's count how long it takes from the top to the ground as easy as senior high physics. We took the height of as h = 526.3 m, the gravity 9.8 m/s^2 then apply them to the Newton's equations, h = 1/2*g*t^2 then t = sqrt(2*h/g) = sqrt(526.3/9.8) = 7.32 seconds. The difference is just 2.2 seconds. The resistance of the concrete and solid materials should give at least 200% of the fall duration. WTC's 9.5 secs to fall is even faster a ball sliding on its wall from top the ground. I don't know what happened there. But my Basic Physics lecturer at first grade in my college -who concentrates in Materials- said that it is very odd that the flame burning 5 stories (at most 2% of 110 stories WTC) took only 20 minutes to melt the core of 30% after explosion top stories' core. A friend of mine, got summa cumlaude Bsc in civil engineering - concentrated in structure, said that the pan cake fall has never occured before due to fire causes. If the heat is hot enough to melt the core then the building should bend forward at a broad angle because the strain caused by the heat is not uniformly distributed along the building's core - remember steel is not a good heat conductor. I'm not speculatiing, but 9/11 is an odd tragedy
Q: What are the dimensions of steel coils used in the furniture industry?
The dimensions of steel coils used in the furniture industry can vary, but common sizes range from 0.5 to 3 millimeters in thickness and 100 to 2000 millimeters in width. The length can be customized based on specific furniture manufacturing requirements.
Q: how much pressure can steel withstand? and how much pressure can concrete withstand? per m3 or cm3? thanks
A common allowable stress for steel is 24,000 psi for A36 steel. Note that allowable stress is a working stress that is less than ultimate stress the stress at which the material will rupture. This allowable stress keeps the steel within the elastic range. Concrete allowable stress is typically around 3000 psi. Concrete, though, being a mixed material has variable values for allowable stress. Reinforced concrete design theory suggests that concrete should not be considered to be able to carry much, if any, tensile force. This explains why you will see steel rebar or reinforcing bars cast in to the concrete. The steel is there to carry any tensile forces, while the concrete is there to carry compression forces. This is a VERY basic explanation. There are entire books on both of these subjects...
Q: What other metal is used to make rings? My girlfriend is allergic to stainless steel, but she wears a silver/grayish color ring, but I'm not sure what metal it is. Any ideas? Thanks!
In addition to silver, white gold, and titanium, it could be an alloy-a mix of a bunch of different metals. If she's allergic to stainless steel, though, she's probably allergic to nickel as well, which is often in metal alloys. Pewter is another silver-color metal that is sometimes used in rings. A pretty expensive silver-colored metal is platinum, but unless your girlfriend is rich or you gave it to her it's pretty unlikely she has a platinum ring. Your best bet would be to ask her if she knows what it's made of.
Q: I have my grandpa's navy knife from ww2, a mk2 combat knife i think, and i was wondering what type of steel it is made of. I'm guessing it's a high carbon steel, i'd just like to know exactly what grade.
I would get a 1095, serrated edge, tanto style, with either a good quality rubberized or bone handle.
Q: What are the dimensions of steel coils used in the oil and gas industry?
The dimensions of steel coils used in the oil and gas industry vary depending on the specific application and requirements. However, common dimensions for steel coils in this industry typically range from 0.5mm to 3mm in thickness and 600mm to 2000mm in width. The length of the coils can vary, but they are often around 2000mm to 6000mm.
Q: I'm in the middle of a remodel and buying appliances. Is there any way to ensure that the stainless steel is the same tone if you get different brands?
Stainless steel is pretty much stainless steel. The differences in tone you can get is when you get stainless steel look appliances. They tend to be a bit more like a charcoal color than true stainless steel color. When I bought my house, it had a stainless steel GE microwave, dishwasher, and stove, and a Braun stainless steel range hood. When we remodeled last year, we got a Maytag Ice20 stainless steel refrigerator and a Kholer stainless steel sink. They all look fine together.
Q: i like stainless steel guns, especially the SW 686 .357, i plan on getting one but my question is would polishing the stainless steel make the gun more prone to corrosion over leaving it as it is? and will the polished surface appear uneven after use and sitting? obviously all metal takes some sort of upkeep but is polished more high maintenance than non-polished?
I use Mothers Mag polish also. The shine you get depends on the effort.... If you buffed a mirror finish it will dull in time... More work brings it back. On a SW you won't take off enough to make any difference as far as metal holding oil. I use a little Mothers whenever I clean my stainless revolver.... Takes the carbon ring off the cylinder face... I use old cotton socks and t shirts. You could use a Dremel to work the mag wheel polish if you want a bright finish.
