- Q: How are plastic tubes cleaned?
- Plastic tubes are typically cleaned by rinsing them with warm water and mild soap or detergent. They can also be cleaned using a cleaning brush or by soaking them in a disinfectant solution.
- Q: i got water leakin on the driver floorboard and i figured it was the drain tube but i cant find it to save my life. anybody have an idea? any help is appreciated. thanks
- OMG we spent a good 40 minutes trying to find the one on a Galant. Look under the dash on the driver's side towards the center up by the front firewall. Up and above to the right of the gas pedal. The left side of the big black plastic airbox is hopefully right there, if it's not covered up in trim panels, and there is the black plastic elbow tube coming from the box then bending forward through the firewall. Use that point of reference to go on the engine side and try to find it poking through the firewall. It only sticks out maybe 1/4 of an inch. Might be some metal hydraulics in the way. Probably a full arm length down, and that's with you draped over the car. It's a nightmare to get at, but it's doable once you find it and then find a way to snake your arm in from underneath. I used a long plastic tube taped to the blow tip of an air compressor and fed it in to the drain tube. Some people say stick a wire in , but I found the 90 degree bend in the tube on the inside made that worthless.
- Q: What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in the automotive packaging industry?
- There are several advantages of using plastic tubes in the automotive packaging industry. Firstly, plastic tubes are lightweight, which helps reduce the overall weight of the packaging, resulting in lower shipping costs. Secondly, plastic tubes are durable and resistant to impact, ensuring the safety of automotive components during transportation. Additionally, plastic tubes provide excellent protection against moisture, dust, and other environmental factors that could potentially damage the automotive parts. Moreover, plastic tubes can be easily customized in terms of size and shape, allowing for efficient packaging of various automobile components. Lastly, plastic tubes are cost-effective compared to other packaging materials, making them a preferred choice for the automotive industry.
- Q: i connected a plastic tube about 7 or 8 inchs long onto a butane can im wondering if when i push down on the can and put a match near it can the fire go back into the can explode
- Yes it will unless you have a regulator between the valve and the tube
- Q: Glass surfaces are negatively charged, and when blood is collected in a clean glass test tube, it clots. Explain this observation.
- it doesnt matter if it's glass or plastic. Once exposed to air (oxygen) the blood will clot unless it's been treated with an anticoagulant like EDTA, heparin, or sodium citrate. That's why these test tubes have anti coagulant in them. The tubes themselves can be glass or plastic, it doesn't matter. No anti-coagulant = clot anti-coagulant = no clot.
- Q: How do plastic tubes compare to rubber hoses in terms of flexibility?
- Plastic tubes generally offer more flexibility than rubber hoses.
- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to water?
- Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to water.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for storing agricultural chemicals?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for storing agricultural chemicals. Plastic tubes are often made from materials that are resistant to corrosion and can effectively contain various chemicals. Additionally, plastic tubes are lightweight, durable, and can be easily transported, making them suitable for storing and handling agricultural chemicals. However, it is important to ensure that the specific type of plastic used in the tubes is compatible with the chemicals being stored to avoid any chemical reactions or contamination.
- Q: does anyone have any ideas on how i can hide my plugs
- put a plant in front of it....or you can get a low table. almost like a coffee table that you can put things like picture frames, or DVD player etc. on and that should hide it too
- Q: What is the maximum diameter-to-length ratio for plastic tubes?
- The maximum diameter-to-length ratio for plastic tubes can vary depending on the specific type of plastic and manufacturing process used. However, in general, plastic tubes typically have a maximum diameter-to-length ratio of around 1:100 to 1:200.
