- Q: i got water leakin on the driver floorboard and i figured it was the drain tube but i cant find it to save my life. anybody have an idea? any help is appreciated. thanks
- OMG we spent a good 40 minutes trying to find the one on a Galant. Look under the dash on the driver's side towards the center up by the front firewall. Up and above to the right of the gas pedal. The left side of the big black plastic airbox is hopefully right there, if it's not covered up in trim panels, and there is the black plastic elbow tube coming from the box then bending forward through the firewall. Use that point of reference to go on the engine side and try to find it poking through the firewall. It only sticks out maybe 1/4 of an inch. Might be some metal hydraulics in the way. Probably a full arm length down, and that's with you draped over the car. It's a nightmare to get at, but it's doable once you find it and then find a way to snake your arm in from underneath. I used a long plastic tube taped to the blow tip of an air compressor and fed it in to the drain tube. Some people say stick a wire in , but I found the 90 degree bend in the tube on the inside made that worthless.
- Q: The dishwasher behind my bar at work has a leak. The pipe that's leaking is Parker Parflex PP 3/8 plastic tubing that connects into a metal nut and brings clean water in. The pipe has a leak exactly where it meets the nut, so in theory I could cut off the cracked portion and then re-seal it to the nut. Can I cut it with wire cutters? Should it be sanded after I cut it? Do I use a teflon sealant? Thanks for any help!
- That should be a compression fitting. If it's a brass fitting then they are one time use. You can get a new brass fitting, cut the PP tube clean with a knife or a razor blade - be careful not to cut yourself please, then install the nut over the tube, slip the compression ring over the tube and if there's an insert that goes inside the PP, insert that. Then push the hose into the fitting and slide the nut and ring to the threaded portion of the fitting and tighten it. Be careful to tighten it enough to seal but not so tight you cut through the pipe again. It's likely the reason you have the leak in the first place is because someone overtightened it. OR you can simply buy a replacement hose. I'd prefer a wire braid shielded pipe. Stronger and made with a professional fitting on the end, one you don't have to mess with. My opinion, replacing the tube is the better idea. And they're not stupidly expensive either. Good luck with your project. '')
- Q: Long story short.....I would like to create my own pen from scratch. Where can I find the empty plastic tubes for the ink?
- Pen Tubes
- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to staining or discoloration?
- Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to staining or discoloration.
- Q: I remember when I was a kid my mother had a bunch of different cake decorating tubes in various colors and I'm pretty sure she still has them - and may use them, lol! OK, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but seriously, how long can I keep and use those little plastic squirt tubes of colored icing that you use to decorate cakes and cookies - realistically? Thanks!
- as a change of a tubal ligation, you would possibly want to ask about Essure. it isn't invasive like a tubal, in which an incision is made. Essure is done by ability of hysteroscopy by ability of the cervix and coils are placed into the fallopian tubes, causing scar tissue to improve, blockading the tubes, combating %.. The fix era after that is way faster and a lot less painful than a tubal. I choose you each and each of the superb.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for storing liquids?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for storing liquids.
- Q: There was no needle inside the tube... do you think my dad was using drugs??
- Perhaps... Could also be someone is injecting fruit with vodka -- something we used to do when I was a teen oh so many years ago. Or maybe your dad has an illness he hasn't told you about? Why do you suspect your dad of that in particular? Is there a history? Only you can know for sure, not us strangers lurking out here on the internets. I hope things aren't what you fear and that things work out for you.
- Q: filling a grocery cart is not an option.
- Ya know, you can use that for reducing the bags under your eyes, assuming you have any, or maybe it's for your mom. Just strike up a conversation about this with the cashier. You're welcome, I just saved you from buying stuff you don't need.
- Q: Our side-by-side, outside water and ice collector barely lets the water come out. We have plenty of ice because it usually never used. We did notice that the plastic tubing inside the refrigerator, is wrapped many, many times in a fairly large circle, plus, there is a kink in the tubing several inches before it disappears inside of the back of the refrigerator.Should I get rid of this extra, extra tubing, along with the kink? How many feet of this tubing should be inside the fridge? Thanks to all that answer.
- ours is rolled in the same position except there is no kink i just went and checked maybe thats why it dont come out good or maybe you have hard water and its clogged hope this helps you
- Q: does it matter where you pur the fluid and how much should be poured in my vanhave a radiator caop and then like a long plastic tube that goes down to the engine and says coolant on it...where do i pour the antifreeze??
- By the looks of all your questions recently you really seem to be doubting yourself with answers. So quite frankly, I would get someone to help you look into your cooling system problems if you are running hot. Or, stop by a good reputable repair shop for a coolant top-off and maybe a diagnosis of any overheating you may have. Good Luck to you..
