- Guinea pigs like pretty big tubes but you don't need to pay rip-off pet store prices for them. Oatmeal containers with the top and bottom cut off work great. Go by the dumpster of a carpet store and grab a section of the cardboard tube they roll the carpet on and cut it to a good length. You can go to one of the big box hardware stores and get a plastic pipe elbow for 6 plastic pipe. The piglets love going round the corner! Hope this helps

- Most Syrian hamsters will not have a problem climbing up those tunnels. I personally like the crittertrail cages better than the ones you linked too..... If you buy the cage from petsmart and do not like it you can always return it to them. They are pretty good about returns.
