- Q: How do flexible drives work? I want to transfer torque from one end of a flexible tube to another. I assume it uses some kind of very viscous continuum medium or a stack of flexible couple plates. Any book drawings, specs or book reference is what I am looking for. I couldn't find anything on Google. Thank you for your time and effort
- very stable. Blue (the cat) says that that's genuine sheep lie for all time. He says additionally that the pony become lie too. Farmers do all forms of unusual issues. yet maximum of all those ventriloquists are the very maximum threatening of all. you should stay faraway from them.. warning against old jokes and humorous animal jokes!!!!!. (guffawing) we are very happy with you. you're making us chuckle...
- Q: how long would it take for air inside a plastic tube 3inch by 1inch to go stale?
- What do you mean by go stale? Smell bad? Become contaminated with organics from the tube? I would think you would also need to specify what kind of plastic that makes the tube to have a chance to answer this.
- Q: i was wondering what would cause oil to lightly spray out of the plastic tube that hangs down out of the top end of the piston. the tube comes out of the top end right before the exhaust header bolts onto the piston.
- The link doesn't work - session is timed out. Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer. I know what tube you are talking about. That tube is the breather hose for the power valve. As the piston rings start to ware, the oil in the premix doesn't get fully burned and accumulates on the power valve and lt's linkage. The engine is probably overdue for a top end rebuild and power valve cleaning. Remove the cover to see how much crud is in there. 2 stroke engines require rebuilds quite often, to prevent damage to the cylinder. If the top end is fresh, remove and clean the power valve. Otherwise clean the valve and replace the piston rings.
- Q: I already have a plastic water line with a on off switch coming up through the floor. I bought a new fridge and when they delivered it they said they could not install it because of the plastic tube- they said I had to change it- I've been to home depot etc and have no clue how to do it because everything else seems to be for the actual installation of a brand new line whereas in this case I need to know how to change the existing line. Any answers??
- You shouldn't have to change the tubing all refers as far as I know come with a 1/4 in line. Get a adapter from Home Depot or Lowe's and you should be good to go. You might cut off a small piece of you old tubing and the fitting on the refer and take them with you that should help a lot. Good Luck
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for ventilation systems?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for ventilation systems. Plastic tubes are commonly used in various applications, including ventilation systems, due to their lightweight, cost-effectiveness, and corrosion resistance properties. They can efficiently transport air and are often used in residential, commercial, and industrial settings for ventilation purposes.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for swimming pool covers?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for swimming pool covers. These tubes are often used to support the cover and keep it in place, preventing debris from entering the pool.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be labeled with product information?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be labeled with product information.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for geothermal heating systems?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be used for geothermal heating systems. Plastic tubes, typically made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), are commonly used for the underground piping in geothermal systems. These tubes are durable, corrosion-resistant, and have good thermal conductivity, making them suitable for efficiently transferring heat between the ground and the heating system.
- Q: I just bought a new diehard battery for my 07 nissan versa and taped to the Side was a little L shaped breather tube. I looked and there's a little hole on the side of the battery, where the breather fits. Do I need to use it? What does it do?
- No do not bother with it. The battery maker just puts it there as a waste of your time and money. Just let any overflow spill down the side of the battery and ruin it, it will be fine.
- Q: looks like its for air bubbles, etcwhat do i need to do with it, hook it up with, etc?thanks all
- Clear it up with a panda
