- Q: I recently purchased some plastic tubes that have a spelling mistake. The print can be removed using some alcohol and some serious elbow grease. Does anyone know a better way to remove the print? Is there something better to use other than alcohol that won't damage the plastic bottle?Any help would be appreciated!Mike
- denatured alcohol is slightly better because it won't de-gloss the plastic,your on the right track.goof-off works good but it will de-gloss and damage finish,it contains hot thinners
