FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: want to tile counter top with out using hardboard
Can yes you can (can means able to). And you may do it as long as the subsurface of the counter where you place the tile on is solid and will not move (most counter tops have too much movement in them to keep the grout from cracking). You can check this by standing or sitting on the counter top and see if your weight makes even the slightest bow in the counter top. If you decide your counter top is strong and stable enough then make sure you sand (rough up) the Formica before you try to cover it with anything else. What you might consider doing is placing either 1/2 inch cement board or another layer of 3/4 birch plywood or MDF board screwed and glued down to the existing counter top. Tile is expensive so do it right.
Q: How to remove the shoe oil into the tiles
Also provided by Grammy Music Ceramics Tiles in the course of the use may be due to improper use of surface contamination caused by the phenomenon of common seepage of several treatment methods are as follows: 1, tea stains, fruit stains, coffee, jelly vinegar, shoes and other stains using sodium hypochlorite dilution (bleach), soak for 20-30 minutes after use with a cloth wipe; some infiltration of brick longer stains, soaking Time takes a few hours. 2, ink, anti-fouling wax moldy moldy, the use of sodium hypochlorite dilution (bleach). Use as long as the bleach applied to the stains soak for a few minutes to clean. 3, cement, scale, rust, rust using hydrochloric acid or phosphoric acid solution, can be wiped several times. 4, paint, oil, oil mark, the surface of anti-fouling wax layer using alkaline cleaning agent or organic solvents (and 5 ketone, triethylene), to paint to oil. 5, gum hammer decontamination Use: first use 20% -40% sodium hydroxide solution soak for 24 hours after the wipe with a cloth, and then 30% -50% hydrochloric acid solution soak for 30 minutes Cloth wipe clean. 6, ice cream use alkaline cleaning agent. 7, lime scale use of acid cleaner. Note: 1, more than the use of defibrillators need to wear plastic gloves. 2, the stains will be removed after the water to wash the brick surface. 3, the market or supermarkets have the latest decontamination detergent, can refer to the scope of the above decontamination and methods.
Q: I‘m gutting my bathroom and will be tiling the floor and then adding a new vanity and a new toilet. The question is, do you tile before you put in the toilet and new vanity or do you put in these items first and then tile around them? Concrete slab foundation that I‘m currently working on leveling.
SOME 10 point answers so far. I hope you acknowledge all of them. The issue relates to what you might want to change, Down the road and please know that home builders, don't usually do any flooring under a vanity,,,sigh. I've installed multiple thousands of sq. ft. of flooring, and have re-modeled more bathrooms than anything else, and have to say if nothing is in the bathroom yet, your looking at installing not much more than a 30x24 inch area of tile UNDER where the vanity will be, and less under where the toilet will be. At current prices, and without the added labor you're cost might be less than another $50 for the better way to go. Seems logical to me. Still, give everyone above me some thanks. Tiling, sheet vinyl, hardwood, Solid GOLD, UNDER a toilet is a natural assumption, and allows for NO odd cuts. Assume however, that one day you might want a pedastal sink as opposed to that GLIT vanity. If you install flooring Under, it'll still be there, if you change your notion. Very realistically TILE, etc. Will NOT be on the shelf, to match, 5 years from now. Steven Wolf
Q: The tile at the store says $5.00 per square foot.. so I'm assuming that's the cost of the tile only.. and then how much does it generally cost to install? Another $5 or more per square foot? I am new to this all.
The installation will probably be less than $5.00, probably a $1.50-$2.00 less. That is presuming you want it laid in straight lines. If you want it laid in diagonials or some sort of pattern then you are in the ballpark. Your best bet is just ask and make sure before they start.
Q: Ok so my 17 year old SIL decided to clean the grout in our entry way using STRAIGHT bleach last night. I came home to find the ceramic tile COVERED in bleach!! Now, after mopping several times I still haven‘t been able to get all the bleach up AND our tiles are stripped!!! Any tips on getting the bleach up and then resealing? Total novice here and desperate for any kind of help!! Thanks!!
Well congradulations on your very clean floor, never fear the clorine bleach will buff off when it is completely dried considering your existing tile is not porus. if that doesn't take care of it, then try this, use a brush and wash it down very good with water and then use a solution of vinegar and water (half and half) this is called an acid wash in the tile work trade. If that does not solve your problem, then get your SIL back over to remove the existing grout and install new or just ask her to pay for it to be done by a professional (which ever suits ya). Be advised to clean your new grout thoughly twice after it has hazed over, then after 72 hours apply an acid wash mentioed above, let it dry, and install a grout sealer.
Q: i am getting my kitchen done over in 2 weeks cost is not a factor i cant decide to do tiles or harwood flooring which is better for the kitchen. i have two kids 2 and 5
Well First Off I'm Assuming The Kitchens Downstairs And You Sitting On A Concrete Sub Floor. If So You'll Need To Buy Engineered Wood (Wood Sitting Upon Cross Layered Plywood For Stability) Rather Than A Solid So It Can Be Glued Down And Actually Stay Down. Also You Would Need A Moisture Barrier Which Keeps Water Down Away From Your Wood Floor; Some People Don't Know That When It Rains The Water Soaks Into The Yard And Rises Under Your House Right Through The Concrete Sub Floor Which Can Be Deadly For Wood Flooring IE Warping And Sinking. Resistance Wise You Need To Look At The Janka Scale Which Is A Wood Hardness Scale Higher The Number The Harder IE Better. The More Polyurethane Aluminum Oxide Mix (All Finished Wood Has It) They Glaze Over Wood Will Make It That Much More Durable To Dents And Dings Not Scratches All You Need Is A Rock On Your Shoe To Scratch Wood;(Wood Is Harder To Replace Dented Pieces) So That Should Make You Think Of Color Medium Tone Woods Don't Show Scratches As Much As Dark And Light Woods Do. Also Wood Has Corers Mitered, Angled They Can Collect Dust In Them So I Recommend Buying Square Cut So They Are Flush Together So No Room For Dust. ----------- Porcelain Tile Is Cooked At A Higher Temp Cooking Out More Air In The Tile Making It A All Around More Durable And Practical Product Easier To Clean And Maintain You Can Seal The Grout To Keep It Clean And Buy A Hover Floor Mate I Love Mine It Vacuums And Scrubs It Clean With Any Kind Of Liquid Floor Cleaners And Dries It Also. They Also Have A Rating System Called PEI It Is Rated From 1-5 And Is Rated On Usability Where It Can Be Used 1 Is Wall Tile And 5 Is Commercial Use. You Will Have More Color Choices When It Comes To Tile To Match Cabinets And So On. Tile IS Also Easier To Replace If Broken They Chip It Out And Slide In A New One. ----- So After All That I Like Both Which Works For You.
Q: I have a couple of tiles that have fell off and need to be put back on, what type glue do you apply to make them stick. They fell off due to foundation problems which is now fixed.
Go to Home Depot or Lowes and ask the tile guys or gals there, they will be able to tell you exactly the right type of mud to use, a certain type of thinset designed to be water resistant and for use on vertical surfaces. You'll also need the right grout to finish the job. Let the 'sperts put the products in your hands, then grab a book or check a few DIY websites for how to clean the base wall and install the new tiles.
Q: I rent but we have cracked a couple of white kitchen counter tiles. Is there a quikfix alternative to replacing them? We realize the solution would be cosmetic.
i..just go to your local Lowe's and get your white replace, emt tiles...get a grout chisel and get the grout out and take the cracked tile out...get you premixed tile mortar and put your new tiles back on and re-grout with your same premixed mortar..(it's called premixed mortar and grouta)...whhoollaaah your done.....any flooring specialist can walk you through it if you should have questions..
Q: What is the unit of the tile factory offer. Is the piece or square meter
To film as a unit, huh, huh had just renovated.
Q: how do you clean up ceramic tiles? they dont seem to shine but look very dull whenever i clean it with water and soap. is there a product i can use to clean them and at the same time leave them shining?
most all tile manufactures will tell u to clean tile with just a damp mob and warm water. it would really help if u had soft water.
