1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q: I am remodeling a small bathroom only 39sq ft. I had someone come out and give me an estimate, he brought a sample of a job he did and tried to sell me on that design, which will NOT complement my existing fixtures, since my existing fixtures are fairly new, I decided to reuse those to save me money. Anyways, this sample he brought me used 16in tiles, since my bathroom is so small, I think huge tile will make it seem even smaller and claustrophobic, I was thinking 1in-4in tiles, but this guy insists that large tile will make the small bathroom seem larger, is there any truth to this? Also, what is a good price to pay, I want the tub replaced, the tile around the tub, replace the small window, flip the sink and toilet so that the sink sits where the toilet is at and the toilet where the sink is, maybe re-tile the floor. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
- It depends on the type of tile - sometimes flash bathrooms which are marble clad are in big sheets and this tends to make it look spacious especially if the floor matches the wall. Small tiles can make the wall look rather busy and not allow the eye to travel and are not very thrilling looking - you sound like you could do with a bit of Wow factor. If it's small enough I would use something like opaque/coloured glass sheet with no joins at all - maybe in combination with mirror sheet, or sheet laminate as a cheaper alternative. Mosaics can be attractive however and if light enough can be just as space enhancing. At the end of the day it is a small bathroom and there will be limit to how big you can make it appear. The advantage of a small layout is nothing should cost very much as there isn't much of it - and nothing is far awy from any supplies or wastes, not to be able to have the layout you want. Tthe best way to save money is to open a bank account, not remodel a bathroom. A really nice bathroom will add value to your house, a crappy one done on the cheap will have the opposite effect.

- If that is what you were quoted by someone who is going to do the job - then that is the going rate for them. Which is likely in line with what other installers of tile charge in your area. Get other estimates or quotes from the people who will actually do the job. There is no standard/going rate that is applicable in every city, in every state across the country.
- Q: I accidentally tiled over an outlet cover. What can I do to fix this issue with out having to remove all the tile?
- I'm guessing you probably put backer board down and forgot to cut the receptacle hole. If you can figure out which tile it's behind you can strike the tile in the center hard enough to break it and then use a hammer and chisel to chisel out the pieces. The backer board will chisel out easily. If you don't know the exact location you may have to remove more than one. That's OK because the mortar is probably still a little soft.The other option would be to use a 4 grinder and cutting wheel to cut the tile and backer board out with. If all that works out then you'll probably need to replace the outlet with a GFCI outlet if it's near a water source. Good luck

- How long do you want it to last? If you are 70 don't bother putting tons o cash in it. If you plan to live in your house a while then put whatever you want to live with. I changed the lino in the baths to tile - wish I had spent the money in the beginning. I had more problems with the caulking around the tub with the lino. Have tile in the kitchen - a bowl of ice cream dropped from counter height ends up looking like an armadillo on the highway at rush hour - you don't even get one bounce from you dishes. On the other hand a knife dropped on lino will land tip first and that one little spot collects dirt - and there will be more of those little holes that appear when no one is looking.

- Carpet is better if they fall, but stains easily and shows wear. You can get carpet tiles for the kitchen, that way if there is a spill you only have to pull it up and replace that one.
- Q: We currently have vinly tile in our tiny kitchen. We want to upgrade but want something that looks nice and is easy to install. What would you recommend (not wood)? Also, would we have to take up the vinyl floor tiles or install on top of it?
- I once had a laminate flooring installed in my kitchen. It was about 16 square and looked like terra cotta tile. It was shaded where the grout was printed on the laminate. So, it looked like real tile. When they installed it, they didn't remove any of the old flooring. They just lay a sheet of thin foam rubber backing and installed the laminate squares (they had a tongue-and-groove interlocking). It came out great and cost about $6 a square foot installed. But, it's easy enough to do yourself. A friend of mine does tile and couldn't believe it wasn't real tile (he had to actually feel it to prove it to himself).

- No it is two completely different things. Vinyl tile is solid vinyl all the way through. Sheet vinyl is a composite of a vinyl wear layer and a base substrate, and many times even having a cushioning layer, so it is a little easier on your feet, sort of a mini anti-fatigue mat. In much the same way as formica has a top wear layer, and a (usually) brown substrate. Vinyl tile is much more durable than sheet goods, you will almost never see sheet goods in a commercial environment, also when damaged, tiles are easier to repair. A tile will gouge or scratch, where as sheet vinyl will tear when heavy appliances are dragged over it. The sheet goods DO give you some cushioning, this is because of the composite backing.
- Q: I laid some ceramic tile about 6 years ago in a family room. There are some tile that sound hallow, Like they did not set in the adhesive securely. Nothing else is wrong with the tile, but it does sound hallow when you walk on it. I laid the tile on a concrete slab. How would you go about fixing this? I thought of drilling a small hole in the center of the tile and spraying some liquid insulation (that you put around windows) and grouting the hole closed with some grout the same color as the tile.
