FAQ
1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q: Why the new tiles are double? What material, so good?
- Hello there. Now the tiles, the general sub-base material and fabric. The base material and the fabric are generally not the same. At the end of the material commonly known as the blank, the general use of materials, such as kaolin, river sand, according to a certain proportion of compatibility. Fabric in order to pursue different artistic effects, often in the general use of materials into the whole particles, semi-particles and other translucent materials and color materials. Although seemingly two layers, but the two materials are mixed before firing, after firing does not affect the overall quality. "Double effect" one can guarantee the surface of the different artistic effects, two can save production costs. Because the fabric which joined the translucent materials and colorants, the cost is high.
- Q: i was wondering if it would be a good idea to use patio tiles or something similar as flooring for a bearded dragon tank, im thinking of getting one but there are a lot of different opinions on what to put on the floor for them, i thought of patio tiles, as theyre originally from rocky areas and they cant caause impation, if it isnt a good idea please offer alternitivesthnx:)x
- There is many floorings you could use. If you want to use tiles, you could use slate tiles since they help retain heat, are easy to clean due to their smooth surface, and help file their nails. You could definitely use patio tiles just make sure to always keep your light on during the day and just in case, don't let it get cold during the night. Use a ceramic heat emitter during the night or you could use an under the tank heat pad to make sure. But other than that, it's perfect because it's just as good as slate tile. If you want other alternatives just in case you use calcium based sand if you really want. Repti carpet, paper towels, newspaper. Don't use indoor/ outdoor carpets though because they have little micro fibers that can coil around their toes and cut the circulation and eventually make their toes fall off.
- Q: This is what I need some information on. I decided to put some floor tile in front of my door in my living room where some carpet is. So what size should I cut out of the carpet where I‘m going to put the tile ? If you have any advice how I should go about this just let me know. You no something like the dos as well as the don‘ts
- Well the size is really up to you, I would probably keep it in a neat rectangle or square though, only as wide as the door is, but that's hardly a requirement. What kind of tile is it though, cause the installation will vary greatly depending on that. Need a bit more info =)
- Q: I am trying to decide between installing hardwood or tile floors in my kitchen remodel. Any thoughts on pros and cons of each? Thanks.
- Ceramic tile. It will take the traffic better, wood is prone to water damage Tile cleans much easier than wood and will take moppings where wood you should never mop( water can damage it). Grout, when you seal it,cleans easy. Wood looks great other places and add value to a house ( ceramic does to) but not in a high traffic water prone area such as the kitchen. Much more maintenance than ceramic. Wood will cost a bit less butt ceramic will installed properly will last a life time with out having to be refinished.. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
- Q: The tile grout on my bathroom floor is white in some parts, but dark where husband stands next to the sink/toilet... How can I clean it without having to re-grout it? Can I just spray bleach on or will that ruin the tile?
- Mr Clean Magic Eraser cleans grout beautifully.
- Q: Okay the apartment i live in was built in the 60‘s and unfortunately everything is completely out of date. Trying to get the maintnence people out is more of a hastle than help. So im trying to do this myself. The stuff inbetween the tiles no matter how hard i scrub with scrubbing bubbles and kaboom and everything doesnt come clean this yuckiness is all over lining the tub and all tiles. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this what to use or if i need to regrout how do i do this ? thanks
- Do NOT use kaboom. Are your tiles loose? If so you need a tile repair specialist to repair your tiles, re-grout and re-caulk. If the tiles are NOT loose, try a basin half filled with water, 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 cup of vinegar. use a sponge and work between the tiles better known as the grout lines. If the grout lines are really black, use a utility knife and remove some of the blacken grout before you use the water, clear vinegar and baking soda. Repeat this procedure once a day for a week, then twice a week for a month, and then once a week for life. In tile you will see the grout lines looking better and the tiles will be clean without a filmy stain on them. After every shower, use a wash cloth to remove excess water from your bathroom tiles. - Q: Is it hard to fit tile around the toilet? Should I start there first?
- Just like any tile work, start with the center of the door where you can put full size tiles and where they look good when you walk in the bathroom. Work your way to the toilet. Surround the toilet with full size tiles as possible leaving the area next to the toilet undone so you can make paper templates. Once you have the paper templates, cut your tile and stick it to the floor. Make sure that the floor is absolutely free from dirt, dust, water or anything else. Use denatured alcohol to clean the area first.(use a respirator and open the windows) Good luck !!!
- Q: Staining and grout removal aside, are there other disadvantages to using natural stone tile for bathtubs?
- err. . .it's not completely waterproof!
- Q: i need to know if there are any ways to remove concrete that has already set, from tile
- If the tiles are a really hard glaze then you could have them sand blasted there are plenty of businesses that can dry sand blast as long as the tiles are worth more than the cost of sand blasting
- Q: I‘m remodeling my house and was thinking of using porcelain tiles for my bathroom (floor only). What are the advantages/disadvantages of using porcelain instead of ceramic, et cetera?
- Porcelain tiles will not break if installed correctly. Let's say, a hammer fell on the porcelained floor, this wouldn't break but would chip and that applies to all kinds of tiles.
