    FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: I don‘t want to rent a wet saw for just a few pieces of tile. And I certainly don‘t need to buy one. Do some places offer this service if so where. Thanks
difficult situation seek on to google or bing it can assist
Q: I took off all the old flooring in the bathroom and whats left is wood (plywood), can I tile directly onto the plywood or do I need to set something down first?
i could advise paying a contractor simply by fact there are a number of stuff that would bypass incorrect. ...sub floor has bounce, so tiles do no longer stay down, grout cracks, putting a rest room over tiles (you may desire to enhance the bathroom, and reset it after the tiles are laid. you will additionally might desire to diminish the tiles around the ABS and which would be somewhat complicated too.) then the bathroom can nonetheless leak inflicting injury. yet once you're a superb DIYer, then bypass to domicile Depot or Rona and take a seminar.
Q: My new home has a kitchen with glazed ceramic tiles covering most of the walls. The colour is basically honey brown, but there‘s a hideous purple border (in the same tile size shape) running horizontally vertically all over the place - I‘d say that 20% of the tiles are this colour.I want to reduce all the tiles to one (new) colour. Two guys (both pros) have this to say:GUY 1: Cheapest solution (and least noisy/disruptive) is to use a ‘glass enamel paint‘ over the tiles. I went online and found several manufacturers of this stuff.GUY 2: Scoffed at this and said there was no other way than retiling the whole kitchen.Guy 1 is adamant that it can be done, and the job will last if enough care is taken in preparing the surface. Is he right?Has anyone tried this ‘re-enamelling‘ technique, and were the results OK?Thanks!
After,,,and still, installing thousands of square feet of tile, and painting thousands of gallons of paint,,, ID NEVER MIX THE TWO. Tile is glass essentially. Test this. Take any paint type you wish, paint some on a spare tile piece, and let it cure,,,no matter glass paint etc,,, sigh. Once it's cured,,, purposely, but even gently, cause abrasions with a coffee mug, drag your toaster oven over it. Stack your dinner dishes on it, etc etc etc. I promise you,,,paint will come off, at some rate, and in some amount of time. Beyond all that, PAINT on any surface where food might come in contact with it, is a bad idea. It will likely be more expensive initially, but as you celebrate your next birthday, then one 5 years from now, NEW tile, or any other counter top substance, will still be there, probably NOT marred. Do you want to touch up paint? Do you want any extra effort to detract from the normal use of the kitchen, or any free time you might have? RE-Enameling is also a way for the manufacturer to gain profit. Rev. Steven
Q: I have asbestos tiles in my basement (of a home I recently purchased). I sent them off to a lab for testing. The lab results came back 4% asbestos. I definitely want to remove the tiles. The majority of the tiles are in good shape. Some of the corners on a few of them are cracking. Right now I am considering the DIY vs. hiring the pros for removalI have been given conflicting advise thus far. Some say do it yourself, there is a very low percentage of asbestos in your tiles -- 4%. Others say Don‘t risk it, pay for the peace of mind. Here are my questions: Is 4% a low percentage for asbestos tiles? Is this low enough to be trivial or of lessor concern when taking on DIY removal? The pros quoted me $1300 for removal and an additional $275 for an air quality test/certification. Is this a fair price for about 500 square feet of tiles? Is air quality testing really necessary given the low percentage of asbestos in my tiles? Or, are they just making money off the fear and hysteria around asbestos?
You can put things over the asbestos but if you ever sell the house it'll cost y you. It's very expensive to remove asbestos because if you break it up and disturb it in the removal process everything has to be sealed off. I'm guessing a few grand to do that job. If you don't plan on ever selling you can just tile over it with little issue. You may not have to abate the asbestos if you sell but if you sell without telling them it's in there you can get into a lawsuit so be aware. He is right about it being only harmful if disturbed though.
Q: can I lay porcelain floor tiles butted up with no grout. These will be laid on underfloor heating? They are quite large 600 x 600. Any info will help. Thanks
No you shouldn t.. Dirt, dust and every day stuff will accumulate in the joints and be almost impossible to get out. All tiles are designed to have a space, some smaller and some larger than others. The grout the goes between the tiles is part of the system to make it stable. Sealing the grout is a major help in keeping it clean and stain free, if this is your concern. Porcelain is made to have a sanded grout along with a space of 1/8 to about 1/4 inch. Or 3/6 mm This spacing will also help make up for minor tile sizes that will throw you off if you try to but them tight. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there.. GL
Q: I am getting ready to replace my kitchen flooring. It currently has sticky vinyl tiles, which I hate. I want a nice tile look for sure. However, it seems it is very hard work installing real tile, and more expensive. I have seen some laminate click together tile flooring that looks pretty good.Which one is best? Which one would last the longest? Any other insight? Thanks!
Tile Vs Laminate
Q: Tiles of various formulas If a square how much money a square need to have a number of pieces of tiles a brick with a number of squares of various formulas
Square = length x width. For example, the specification for the 300x450 tile algorithm is. 0.3x0.4 = 0.12 per tablet is 0.12 square. If you want to use 50 square with 50 by 0.12 will use 417 pieces
Q: I‘m getting some of my house tiled and would like to know if I am getting ripped off or not. It is going to be approximalte 600 sq ft with 2 upstairs bathrooms. The installer gave me a quote of $2400 to lay the tile (straight or diagonal, whichever I want). I will have to buy the tile and other materials on my own. The tile is going to be 18x18. The price includes ripping out the carpet and ripping out the tile that is already in the kitchen that will be replaced as well as the tile in the upstairs baths. Also included will be haul away of all the trash. Is this a good price or not?
I am a contractor and for the work you describe i would usually charge 10 dollars a square foot. But I would include all the material including the tile but not exceeding a certain price per foot. And diagonal is extra so I think you got a damn good deal. Be careful check the guy research now no tears later.

Q: the tile is like a plastic what can i use to renstall the tile it is on the wall in the shower how long do i have to let the wall dry before putting tile back up and how long will i need to let it dry before using the shower again
i would not invest alot of money in this type of repair job , but i have done a a few similar jobs like it using a waterproof caulk or a basic construction addhesive like liquid nails.let walls dry overnight then set with caulk or addhesive and let dry about 4 or 5 hours. drying times are usually listed on the adhesive tubes.
