FAQ
1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q:1 package tiles can paste the number of square brick
- The amount of tiles used, there are two main factors: First, the roughness of the base surface, the second is the use of smear tools. The more flat surface, the use of the less. Toothed scraper is the best tool for the construction of ceramic tile, the smaller the mouth, the smaller the amount. In the relatively flat base, De Gao's technical engineers measured, 6mm wide and 6mm deep tooth-shaped scraper dosage of about 3.5kg / ㎡, 10mm wide and 10mm deep tooth-shaped scraper dosage of about 5kg / ㎡, 12mm wide 12mm deep tooth scraper dosage is about 7kg / ㎡. To Tak Tak tiles common 20Kg package count, you can paste 3 to 7 square meters. Should pay attention to the big mouth is to paste a large tile, heavy brick, ordinary home decoration, with a small mouth of the scraper on it.
- Q:how to tile vanity top and back splash?
- am not sure you Have to but as there will be water in the area its sure to be HIGHLY recommended. - having delt with water/mold damage for areas it Wasnt used - i personally would recommend using it. the best thing tho is talk to tile sales people find out the recommendations for the tile- perhaps there is some product to prevent the problems i have encountered. good luck
- Q:Over time the tiles in my apartment bathtub have turned yellow. It‘s not all of the tiles, just a few in the back/corner. I undoubtedly have hard water but I can‘t figure out why a few of these tiles are yellow. As far as I can tell, these are cheap plastic tiles (white). I have tried comet (with bleach), full strength bleach, vinegar/water solution, vinegar/baking soda, baking soda by itself, mr. clean magic eraser, and full strength CLR to no avail. The only thing that worked at all was using comet and scouring the tiles with steel wool. Although it scratched the surface, the actual scratch part wasn‘t noticeable. But there has to be an easier way than breaking my arm to get one tile cleaned. Any suggestions? If anyone wants I can email them a picture of the tiles.
- try using Zud cleaner. found in Home Depot.
- Q:My new home has a kitchen with glazed ceramic tiles covering most of the walls. The colour is basically honey brown, but there‘s a hideous purple border (in the same tile size shape) running horizontally vertically all over the place - I‘d say that 20% of the tiles are this colour.I want to reduce all the tiles to one (new) colour. Two guys (both pros) have this to say:GUY 1: Cheapest solution (and least noisy/disruptive) is to use a ‘glass enamel paint‘ over the tiles. I went online and found several manufacturers of this stuff.GUY 2: Scoffed at this and said there was no other way than retiling the whole kitchen.Guy 1 is adamant that it can be done, and the job will last if enough care is taken in preparing the surface. Is he right?Has anyone tried this ‘re-enamelling‘ technique, and were the results OK?Thanks!
- After,,,and still, installing thousands of square feet of tile, and painting thousands of gallons of paint,,, ID NEVER MIX THE TWO. Tile is glass essentially. Test this. Take any paint type you wish, paint some on a spare tile piece, and let it cure,,,no matter glass paint etc,,, sigh. Once it's cured,,, purposely, but even gently, cause abrasions with a coffee mug, drag your toaster oven over it. Stack your dinner dishes on it, etc etc etc. I promise you,,,paint will come off, at some rate, and in some amount of time. Beyond all that, PAINT on any surface where food might come in contact with it, is a bad idea. It will likely be more expensive initially, but as you celebrate your next birthday, then one 5 years from now, NEW tile, or any other counter top substance, will still be there, probably NOT marred. Do you want to touch up paint? Do you want any extra effort to detract from the normal use of the kitchen, or any free time you might have? RE-Enameling is also a way for the manufacturer to gain profit. Rev. Steven
- Q:If you were going to tile an entire room would you start from the walls or floor? The room is only small 12m walls 4m floor is a basic toilet basin. There are no border tiles no fllor to wall tiles.
- i really dont know how to answer this question im really sorry but my moms boyfriend meant know i can talk to him and found the answer
- Q:How to look at tile quality?
- That can be used as a mirror, according to the people out of clear, buy big brands of bricks, big brands to ensure size, will not bring trouble to the shop
- Q:Hi, I was wondering if the house appraisal for a house with all hardwood floor was higher than it is if the house has all tile. Thanks!
- There isn't a rule of thumb on this. Gorgeous wood floors in great condition may be worth more than nasty outdated tile, but a floor full of heated travertine, italian marble, or slate will be worth more than a crap pergo floor or wood flooring that's torn to hell.
- Q:Specifically, what type of drill bit is required that won‘t chip the tile.
- You need a masonry drill bit, put some electricians PVC tape on the tile and mark that where you want to drill. This stops the drill sliding on the shiny tile surface. Do NOT use the hammer action you would normally use for masonry, just use the drill steadily, once you're through the tile, job done.
- Q:CAN YOU LAY TILE OVER TILE
- If your existing tile is tight to the floor and in good shape (no cracks, loose tile, loose grout) yes you can. You need to use a thin set with a very high latex content like TEC Superflex. Be sure that the existing tile and grout is perfectly clean and there are no sealers left on the grout. This is an industry accepted method.
- Q:i mean i know they make tiles obviously, but how do they go about doing that exactly?
- Hello Most of the tile makers now use dust clay(fine powder) .they have a standard 6x6 two part mould that they fill with a set amount of the powdered clay insert the filled mould in to a fly press of similar type of press remove from the mold decorate glaze and fire in the kiln. this is just to give you some idea. The traditional way is to use plastic clay that's wet clay that you can press into a tile mould by hand or a small press remove leave to dry and then fire when fully dry.You can fine a few help full books on the internet or the Library.
