FAQ
1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

- Q:can you tile an old brick fireplacegt;?would it look stupid?
- Are you still planning on using the fireplace? You will need to check with the manufacturer of the tile that it can withstand the heat. If you're tiling the exterior of the fireplace, make sure you select a corner bead for the exposed edge where the fireplace opening meets the wall plane. Installing tile over a fireplace is not a big deal if you're putting it on the wall plane. Whether it looks stupid or not depends on the type of tile you use and the overall color scheme. It could definitely work.
- Q:I have installed tile around my shower and and ready to fill in the gaps between the tile. Grouting looks messy and I don‘t know how to do it. Is there a grout that comes in a tube that can be put into a caulk gun? Can I just caulk the whole thing? This one is new to me so any help is appreciated!!!
- Use grout to fill the gaps between your tiles. Work in with a rubber float on a 45 degree angle. Press in hard. Wipe off excess grout from tile with a damp sponge. Use silicone caulk in the corner joints to allow for expansion.
- Q:your supposed to?Would it damage the tiles?
- Not at all. You just wasted some vinegar and it might take longer for the smell to go away.
- Q:If you were going to tile an entire room would you start from the walls or floor? The room is only small 12m walls 4m floor is a basic toilet basin. There are no border tiles no fllor to wall tiles.
- To be honest with you it does not matter if you do the floor or walls first. Some people prefer not to do the floor first as they will make a mess of the floor when doing the walls and it will take additional time to cover or clean the floor. And NO you do not always start in the center. In some cases starting in the center will cause you to have very small cut tiles on the edges. You should measure and find the center and dry test tiles with the 1st tile centered in the room checking to find the cut size of the tiles on the outside end. You should never have a tile less than 1/2 on the end. Example a 1 or 2 cut tile is a mistake if the tiles are 6 or larger. If the tile is less than 1/2 its size then start with the 1st tile on the edge of the center line. Always keep the same size cuts on both sides and never end up with small pieces.
- Q:I'm decorating my bathroom with a soothing and relaxing water theme (sand and water colours - beige, white, earthy brown, pale blue, and pale green). I need a backsplash behind my sink and tiles in the shower area. Any ideas that would work with this theme?
- about okorder / municationsmgr...
- Q:What are the dimensions of the tile?
- There are many common types of tile are proportional to the 300X300 600X600 800X800 and 1000X1000. Ceramic tile size 300X300 300X450 300X600 there are 100X100. Ask more, why should we know the size of the problem? The Generally this will not be a problem. There are any indoor and outdoor space decoration problems continue to ask
- Q:I have laminate over plywood right now in a bathroom. I‘d like to peel that off and lay tile down. Do I need the cement board or can I just put the tiles right on the plywood? It would save a lot of time and energy if I can just lay the tiles on the existing wood.
- If the laminate isn't peeling you can tile right over that. Sand with coarse sandpaper....clean with TSP.....prime with oil-based kilz-it. Let that dry and start tiling. Don't use a premixed adhesive and grout all in one. It won't stand up to the moisture. Get the correct thinset for the tiles you will be using.
- Q:Does anyone know if I can lay ciramic tile over the dull worn out linoleum floor in my kitchen? I don‘t want to peel up the linolium because of the insane amount of labor it will take, and make the sub floor un even. any suggestions? Will tiles still stick to this material? Thanks!
- The people who took up our lino in preparation for tile in our first home, rented a piece of equipment that chipped up the lino and then they ground the concrete to make it even before laying the tile. About 2 years after we moved into our new preowned home, we noticed that the tile floor in the kitchen was loosening. We called in two tile installers for estimates and they both told us that there was linoleum underneath. Sure enough, when the ceramic tiles were removed, there was linoleum underneath. The seller had taken a short cut and had the tile put down over the linoleum!! It cost us $1800.00 for it to be properly removed and prepped, and new tile installed. What a disappointment! Thank goodness we have a galley style kitchen with a moderate amount of square footage or it could have been a very expensive situation. Do yourself a favor, bite the bullet and remove the lino--then there will be no doubt about your tile staying in place for the long haul.
- Q:does anyone know what the most affordable nice tile flooring is? i was watching a tv show that was using slate for less than a dollar a sq ft. i cant seem to find that anywhere.. but im re-doing my kitchen and would love suggestions! no laminate or wood im really aiming for tile. thanks!
- Most all your big box store will carry tile , but not stone products, for a dollar or less. These cheap tiles are usually being discontinued, are discontinued or are mixed dye and run lots that they re stuck with. So be careful there. Don t ever get a mix run of any tile, even if they are marked as the same shade number. Don t be afraid to spend a bit more and get better a better product. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. GL
- Q:Specifically, what type of drill bit is required that won‘t chip the tile.
- I have also used a carbide tipped bit on several occasions to drill tile. The key is to have a sharp bit and to use a pointed center punch to put a very small chip in the surface prior to starting to drill the hole. Make the chip at the center of the point where you want the hole by lightly tapping with a hammer. You don't need much of a chip but it keeps the drill bit from wandering around when you first start drilling. Also a variable speed drill that you can start at a very low speed it also helpful.
