1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

6. What's the characteristics about porcelain tiles and glazed tiles? Which one
more slippery, more aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean?
Glazed tiles are colorful, the effect is rather diverse, stain-slip, abrasion resistance but worse than the porcelain tiles. Long-term use may wear a large surface; porcelain tiles have the higher degree, long hard wear surface. Good performance and stable cleanup (before playing the best times to use the wax to improve stain resistance). The porcelain tiles are weaker performance in non-slip than glazed tiles. We should take attention on its anti-slip properties, face down in a tiled brick water testing.
7. How to choose bathroom tiles? Porcelain tiles or glazed tiles?
Currently used in the bathroom tiles with glazed tiles (mainly from price considerations, some high-end can choose tiles, notice to choose tiles), divided into Shinny and Matt two kinds. Light color makes people feel shinny, but the bathroom more appropriate to create a warm feeling, so the best choose is uses matte, the shinny feels more soft and not dazzling.

- Ceramic tile is a lot harder to work with than linoleum or vinyl tiles. A reputable store will assist you and answer all your questions about installation when you've picked the tile you want. Take accurate measurements now.
- Q: I bought 12 x 12 ceramic tile from Lowe‘s branded as SURFACE SOURCE with a PEI rating 4. I bought each tile for $0.58 each. I want to use the tile for the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and living room. The tile was made in Mexico. I think the tile was being discontinued at Lowe‘s. Thus, I think that is why the price was so low. Did I make a mistake? The tile looks good and feels good so I do not see a problem with. I need an honest opinion.
- Hi Jerry, You got a great deal! Just install it with care and it will last for a long time. But do be careful with your installation and be sure to use a good underlayment. Also, I would recommend laying out your job so that you have at least 5% of the tiles left after the last room. That way if you do have some that break you can easily replace them. A PEI rating of 4 is the second highest rating - good for all residential applications. Enjoy your good fortune and your good shopping skills - that was a smart move!!
- Q: I have 12x12 field tile and a strip of accent that‘s about 2 high. Everything I‘ve read says that you want to have the accent at eye level, which makes sense to me. Judging for myself, it LOOKS best at eye level. If I place it at eye level, I wind up with a full 12x12 tile above it, or at least, a 12 space above it. So going down to the tub, I would have a 2 1/2 cut tile at the bottom, right above the tub.Everything I have read also says that you want to have the cut tiles at the top and bottom symmetrical.
- Provided the tub is fairly level, start a full tile at the bottom and work up. Tile will look fine at a 5 or six foot level ( I prefer 5 ft.) Not every one has the same eye level so the strip will be fine. The tub surround will be a bit different too so what I suggest is measuring on the tub wall the tile heights and stand back and look at it. Use a pc of tape the approx width of the strip and tape it or draw it on the tub wall s prior to tiling. Will give you a better idea. - Q: I want to know if it‘s necessary to use any special underlayment, or any additional steps required to successfully lay ceramic tile over a wood plank floor. Thanks!
- Not directly. There are products out there like Tavy Thinskin that say you can do this by applying the Tavy membrane first and then setting tile, but I've seen installations like this fail far too often. Plank floors move too much for an installation like this. They will inevitably crack the tile or the grout. If this is a plank subfloor then you are best to put down 1/4 durock concrete board before tiling. If it's less than about an inch thick, you should lay a sheet of exterior grade plywood and apply a Ditra membrane before laying tile. Concrete board adds no structural value so you need to make sure your subfloor is stiff enough to avoid flexing and causing cracks. If this is an actual finished hardwood floor, it really needs to be ripped out and proper subfloor for tile installed like I laid it out in the last section. There is another easier option but it can get expensive. There is a product out now that is basically a porcelain tile mounted on a plastic grid. You click the grid (and tile) together just like installing a laminate floor and then grout the joints with a flexible urethane gout. This allows the whole installation to float without any actual connection to the floor below. This newer system is greatly improved over the older systems where a tile was mounted on an actual laminate backer board. We had the opportunity to bring the product into our store, but we passed on it due to cost. I'd have to sell it for $8-$10 / SF. The grout isn't cheap either.
- Q: can I surface over my white tile flooring granet??
- If they are vinyl tiles stuck to the subfloor and you put another substrate, such as 1/2 cement board, yes you can. If the vinyl tiles are over another type subfloor, such as luan, then no, the vinyl and its substrate must come up and then the proper subflooring put down over the subfloor, correctly and then tile. If its a self stick tile, over slab, it must come up. If its a glued down vinyl tile over slab and bonded well, there are proper ways to put ceramic over this. If your doing ceramic over ceramic, and the ceramic is down well and no signs of cracks or loose tiles, again there are proper ways of putting ceramic ( or granite) over ceramic. - Q: I bought tile effect laminate flooring for my kitchen. How do I stagger the joints, but line the grout seems up at the same time? There are four equal tiles per a plank.
- The tiles should be the same size or in a pattern such that you can off set the joints and still have the tilegrout lines still line up. Or some of them you can both off set the joints and do a offset or brick pattern in the laminate itself. This type of laminate you ll need more than normal scrap because you will scrap more out on this type of laminate. - Q: i want to use broken tiles for flooring in the balcony. what is the procedure?? and how do i start??please suggest.
- I suggest that you first prep and fill your concrete and let dry. Next you should lay out some tile pieces on an area near your starting point fitting the pieces together like a jigsaw puzzle. Next spread some tile mastic over an area equal to the size of the area where you have laid out tile pieces that fit together. Next, quickly set the tiles in the mastic in the same pattern that you had them laid off to the side leaving at least about 1/8th gaps between the tile pieces. When you are finished, scrape off any mastic that does not have tile set in it. Repeat this process until you completely cover your floor. Allow to dry for a day and then fill the cracks with grout. Allow the grout to dry for a day and then do an acid wash to remove the grout residue.

- you can lay vinyl peel and stick tiles on top of your existing sheet vinyl if your sheet vinyl is in good condition and stuck down well, you can apply a skimcoat of feathering patch on top of the vinyl they sell an epoxy additive instead of water to mix with so that you have good adhesion to the sheet vinyl I bought my peel and stick tiles at Lowes along with the skimcoat mix. Tiles were roughly $1 a piece and look much better than the sheet vinyl. I liked Lowes selection of tiles better than Menards and Home Depot. I redid two bathrooms, front entry way and kitchen this summer
- Q: The hammer took a chip out of one tile, the chip is about the size of a pencil eraser. I‘m just heartbroken as we just had this tile installed 12 days ago! Is there any way to fix this- short of replacing the tile? I‘ve already bought a rug that will cover the hole but I‘d still like to fix it if I can. Just in case we ever would like to go without a rug. Thank you!!!
- I know it sounds strange but try to find a nail polish in that color and fill in the chip if not replace the tile good luck
